A live audience of 4000 people will be allowed at The BRIT Awards 2021 on Tuesday as part of a research programme exploring how crowds can safely return to events.

So it’s no wonder celebrities including Gemma Collins and Sheridan Smith are going all-out for what’s by far the biggest night of the year so far.

Not only did Gemma, 40, have her hair dresser set off for London at 4.42am, but she also treated herself to a £3,500 cryotherapy beauty treatment ahead of the glitzy ceremony.

The clinic charges £350 a session, of which it recommends ten. Each session lasts between and hour and a half and two hours.

Referring to her clinician, the TV personality gushed: ‘Here she is, the genius at work getting me ready for the Brits.’

The main show is once again being hosted by Jack Whitehall.

He said: ‘Back in a room with music and songs. We’re putting on a show with key workers in the audience, people who most deserve a night to let their hair down. It will be very special – we will have heroes in the room.’

Revealing how he plans to psych himself up for the show, he joked: ‘Yes it’s back on the Hollywood diet for me in the run up to The BRITs, having let myself go during lockdown.’

The show is set to award Taylor Swift – who will make history as the first ever female to be given BRITs Global Icon Award at the ceremony on Tuesday.
