As previously reported, Chrisean ‘Holy Hands’ Rock was set to enter the ring on April 25, and did! Ahead of the fight, she had fans hype after meeting her weigh-in goal. Ultimately, she won her debut match following a split decision in the three-round, crossover match, per Forbes. Rock even managed to a knockdown in the first round. The video of the winning announcement shows Chrisean falling to the floor in tears.
In a follow-up Instagram post, Rock wrote, “HOLY HANDS FOR THE WIN PRAISE YAHWEH PRAISE Jesus Thank you Holy Spirit.” Fans flooded the post with congratulations and encouragement. Even her ex-boyfriend HoodTrophy Bino dropped by, writing, “HOLYHANDS 💚💚🤞🏾 told ya ma.”
Claressa Shields Congratulates Chrisean Rock On Boxing Win
Despite being an amateur boxer, Chrisean Rock is receiving love from the big leagues, too. In this case, we mean undefeated pro-boxer Claressa Shields, who has won 18 matches, including three knockouts, per ESPN. The 3-division world champ shared her video message for Rock on social media, tagging her. Shields said seeing Rock fight on Saturday was a “proud moment” for her.
“Chrisean been through so much and we got to see it up close and personal. And to see her go through everything that she went through with her ex-guy, the baby, Baddies, family, to see her actually come out on the other side and win and put her fighting skills to use…to see her praise God, that was very moving to me… I’m happy that I can be one of her inspirations.”
Also, Claressa Shields revealed Chrisean Rock called her a lot when her boxing journey first started. Shields said she offered her a personal training when she’s ready. As for Rock’s performance in the ring, Claressa said she did really good and that she’s happy for her. She also warned of the incoming vultures as Rock grows, including winning more matches, increasing her views and earning more money.
