CNN President Jeff Zucker resigned Wednesday after revealing he didn’t disclose what he known as a “consensual relationship with my closest colleague” throughout a probe of former community host Chris Cuomo.

“I used to be required to reveal it when it started, however I didn’t,” Zucker stated in an announcement about that relationship, with the unidentified lady with whom he had labored for greater than 20 years.

“I used to be improper.”

“In consequence, I’m resigning as we speak,” he stated.

CNN declined to remark when contacted by CNBC.

The New York Occasions recognized the lady as Allison Gollust, govt vp and chief advertising and marketing officer for CNN Worldwide.
