A Massachusetts college radio host is in a heap of trouble after the vile threat he reportedly made against Vice President JD Vance on the leftist social media platform BlueSky, leading to his resignation as a host.
The Secret Service confirmed to Fox News that it was investigating the alleged post by the volunteer radio host of WUML, a station funded by the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.

A volunteer radio show host at WUML (91.5 FM), student/community-run radio station funded by the (UMass Lowell), has resigned following backlash over a post on Bluesky. The post reportedly stated, “It’s simple, we —- JD Vance, ( https://t.co/neqlaI9JJq

The person behind an account named hansopez.bsky.social reportedly wrote the following before it was removed:
“It’s simple, we kill JD Vance.”
The report noted that the comments were in response to another user on the site who wrote that, “JD VANCE THINKS BRITAIN & FRANCE ARE AMERICAS [sic] LIKELY ENEMIES.”
In a statement to Fox News, the school confirmed it was aware of the threat calling for the assassination of Vance.
It read:
“UMass Lowell police promptly coordinated with the FBI, Secret Service and Haverhill police the same day to ensure an appropriate response,” the school said. “Contact was made with the individual in question, and the necessary assessments were conducted in collaboration with federal partners. Authorities confirmed there was no immediate threat.”
“UMass Lowell takes seriously any threat of violence involving our community. Statements such as the post in question are inconsistent with the values of our democracy and our university,” the statement continued. “The individual in question has since resigned from his volunteer role at WUML and removed the post from his Bluesky account.”

The outlet noted that despite the Secret Service confirming the post, the Haverhill Police Department directed Fox News to the FBI, who did not comment on the investigation.
The disgusting threat against the VP’s life comes just days after authorities arrested a man who allegedly attempted to break into Vance’s home in Cincinnati by breaking several windows, RedState’s Nick Arama reported.
According to the Secret Service, regarding that incident:
‘An adult male was taken into custody by the Cincinnati Police Department after being detained by U.S. Secret Service personnel for causing property damage, including breaking windows on the exterior of a personal residence associated with the Vice President,’ A Secret Service spokesperson told the Daily Mail.
‘Shortly after midnight on Monday, January 5, the man was physically detained by Secret Service agents assigned to the Vice President’s home. The residence was unoccupied at the time of the incident, and the Vice President and his family were not in Ohio.’
Secret Service agents alerted police just after midnight after seeing a suspect running from the home.
Given the two attempts on President Donald Trump’s life and the assassination in September of Conservative giant and founder of Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk, threats like this need to be taken seriously.
