The House Oversight Committee has been interviewing Biden administration officials as part of their investigation into the scandal concerning Joe Biden’s cognitive decline and the use of the autopen.
While some Biden administration witnesses have invoked the 5th Amendment, others have responded to questions from the Committee.

On Thursday, former senior advisor and White House Counsel spokesperson Ian Sams was the one to be grilled. Chairman of the Oversight Committee, James Comer said, “He had a lot to say while he was working for the White House, so I’m sure he’ll have a lot to say today.”
Now that he’s under the gun, Sams blew off any questions from reporters.

However, during questioning, Sams revealed some pretty stunning information. According to Chairman Comer, Sams saw Biden…twice. That’s in more than two years of working for him. Comer said he thought this contradicts everything the former Biden people had been saying about Biden’s mental fitness.

Even though Sams only met with Joe Biden twice, according to Comer, Sams was one of the loudest voices on outlets like MSNBC, saying Biden was “fit.” Comer said Sams would try to counter what Special Counsel Robert Hur said about Joe Biden, for example.
“Robert Hur spent more time with Joe Biden than Ian Sams,” Comer said. Indeed, Comer said he, Comer, interacted more with Joe Biden.
He said Sams didn’t have a good memory of those two interactions, which made him think they were short. So how could he say anything about Joe Biden’s fitness? Comer called Sams’ two interactions “shocking.”
Comer said there were “very few people” who were around Biden toward the end when most of the pardons were signed.
“It raises serious concerns and serious questions about who was calling shots at the White House,” Comer explained.
“If the White House spokesperson was being shielded from the president of the United States, who was operating the Oval Office?”
Great question. The level of issues that this inquiry is exposing is wild.
Now call Joe and Jill Biden, and grill them on who did what when. That’s when this whole thing will truly implode. If they invoke the 5th Amendment, that will tell you everything, right there.
