Diddy Reportedly Organized Thanksgiving Surprise For Fellow Incarcerated Individuals At Fort Dix

According to Page Six, Diddy’s first Thanksgiving at Fort Dix in New Jersey was anticipated to center around “sports tournaments, holiday concerts, card games, and other recreational activities.” The prison’s Thanksgiving menu reportedly consisted of “turkey roast, soy chicken for a vegetarian option, vegetable corn bread stuffing, baked sweet potato, mashed potatoes, corn, chicken gravy, whole wheat bread, and fruit or a holiday dessert,” per the outlet.

Additionally, Diddy reportedly kicked things up a notch this holiday season at Fort Dix. According to an exclusive report from TMZ, Diddy “worked with an internal group called Bankroll Bosses.” He and the group reportedly bought food from the prison’s commissary. Then, they reportedly spent two days preparing it. Ultimately, Diddy’s rep. shared with the outlet that he spent two days distributing the food “to every housing unit at Fort Dix.”

More Details On The Thanksgiving Dinner

Per the outlet, Diddy shared a statement through his rep. about his Thanksgiving effort.

“Thanksgiving, to me, is about making sure other people eat. Everybody misses their family. People get depressed during the holidays. We just wanted to come together as a family and do our own thing,” he reportedly stated.

Additionally, TMZ reportedly spoke with another man named B.I. Furthermore, he reportedly helped organize the effort.

“We cooked the food and sent it to all the buildings. Enough for about 200 people [in] each building. It took two days to prep everything,” he confirmed.

The outlet notes that incarcerated individuals at Fort Dix do not have access to stoves, microwaves, or knives. Therefore, in addition to finding a way to heat the food, they even had to use ID cards to cut the food during its preparation.

In addition, Diddy shared a thought about “misinterpretations about prison.”

“There’s a lot of misinterpretations about prison. There is a strong brotherhood. We all look out for each other. It’s nothing but a positive thing. It’s like a little bit of home in a dark place,” he reportedly added.

This statement, backed up by videos that recently surfaced of Diddy behind bars. As The Shade Room previously reported, the clips showed Diddy working his prison job and interacting with inmates — smiling and even laughing at points, seemingly proving the 56-year-old’s comment.
