A murderous father left a series of disturbing posts on Facebook before killing his wife and seriously injuring his adult daughter then killing himself.
Michelle Kemp, 50, was stabbed to death at her home in Inverell in northern New South Wales about 2.20am on Wednesday.
Police found Jennifer Michell, 21, seriously wounded at the home and she was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle where she is in a critical condition.
Her father Neville Michell was found dead at a house on the outskirts of town around 7.45am, having apparently killed himself.

He also changed his Facebook status to ‘widowed’.

Locals said the couple’s relationship had been rocky in recent times.
The posts hint at a man struggling with his mental health. In another post just five days earlier, he shared a post from Beyond Blue.
‘When you’re depressed you see the world differently,’ it read. ‘You think, “I don’t deserve love, I don’t deserve support.”‘
He added: ‘Okay it’s not for me.’

The family relationship also seems to have been strained, with Michell claiming in another post earlier that day he and his daughter had fallen out.
‘How much pain can a daughter cause . so much pain and your wifey take her side,’ he wrote on a post he shared from the Anxiety Disorders Association of Victoria.
The couple only married in March 2019 and proudly posted the pics on their social media, when Michell wrote: ‘My wifey!’

Police established a crime scene and investigations are ongoing into how the attack unfolded.
Neighbours said they rarely saw the wife at the house and had mainly seen the father. They were renting the home and had only moved in there last September.
The house was recently sold for $215,000 in April but it’s understood the family were sitting tenants with a lease through until later in the year.
