On Wednesday, independent journalist Cam Higby filmed someone claiming to be a cashier at a local Minneapolis Speedway service station denying Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino access to the store. The alleged cashier practically escorted Bovino and his fellow agents off the property, flippantly declaring, “Don’t come back, neither. Bye!”
Higby asked the man why he was allegedly denying Bovino and his officers service. The man said, “‘Cause I wanted to. We don’t support ICE, and nobody here does. Neither do I.”
Another banner day in Minnesota for the border patrol and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Speedway, the popular convenience store and gas station chain, has become the latest company to draw criticism from conservative circles after a video went viral, allegedly showing a Minnesota gas station refusing service to US Border Patrol agents. The footage, widely shared on X by MAGA figures including Nick Sortor and Cam Higby, shows agents, including Border Patrol Chief Greg Bovino, walking away from a Speedway location on Portland Avenue in Hennepin County, near Minneapolis.

BREAKING: DHS Border Patrol Chief Bovino was just DENIED service at a Minneapolis Speedway gas station.
Cam Higby (@camhigby) asked Bovino if this it was legal for Speedway to deny them service, and the cashier interrupted with:
“If it is, I personally don’t care.”

“Is this an official policy of Speedway to deny service to federal law enforcement officers?” TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet asked in the above tweet, tagging the company.
As of this writing, there has been no independent confirmation from the company that this man is actually an employee at that location.
Higby asked Bovino whether it was legal for Speedway to allegedly deny service to federal law enforcement. Bovino did not respond on camera, but the mouthy man did. “If it is, our president don’t care.”
If the man escorting Bovino is referring to the company’s president, one wonders whether he suffers from ICE-Derangement syndrome as badly as this person does. The mind boggles.
Speedway, which is owned by 7-Eleven, Inc., is rightly getting backlash. How smart is it to allegedly deny anyone, especially law enforcement, from filling up their vehicles or buying a drink, and then being nervy enough to tell them not to come back?
Of course, some Hilton Hotels in Minneapolis have been playing sleight of hand with ICE, too, claiming that they are fully booked and canceling rooms in order to avoid rioters and protesters (but I repeat myself) destroying their property, as RedState reported.

Welcome to the new normal in Minneapolis and other blue cities that think they are repelling immigration enforcement agents. Activists and their useful idiots find every way imaginable to thwart ICE’s removal of criminal illegals, aka, “their neighbors and friends” from their midst. If that means impeding ICE’s progress by not allowing agents the opportunity for rest or to gain refreshment and resources, then so be it.
My prediction for the Twin Cities having grown up there concerning the Fed surge.
The Hilton hotel denial to HHS is only the beginning. Look for restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores and others to get in on the denial of services to any Federal agent.

My prediction for the Twin Cities having grown up there concerning the Fed surge.
The Hilton hotel denial to HHS is only the beginning. Look for restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores and others to get in on the denial of services to any Federal agent.
The woke mind virus permeates most of the Twin Cities.
With that prescient take, Tom Dorner needs to go buy a Powerball ticket.
Speedway service stations are ubiquitous, especially in the South. The majority of Southerners have no issues with law enforcement or ICE. We do have an issue with the level of disrespect shown by the man who claims to be a cashier. So, expect this Speedway backlash to grow, and we’ll watch closely to see if it reaches Bud Light/Cracker Barrel proportions.
So, @Speedway wants the Bud Light treatment, eh?

As of this writing, there was no response on Speedway’s X account, but since the last post from the company was in April of 2025, it doesn’t appear to be closely monitored. If their social media is any indication, they pay as much attention to it as they do to how their alleged employees behave.
Shameful.
Editor’s Note: Democrat politicians and their radical supporters will do everything they can to interfere with and threaten ICE agents enforcing our immigration laws.
