Eric Mena Reportedly Comes Out On Top Against Ex Safaree

On Tuesday, Mena took to Instagram to announce that she had finally concluded a legal fight with Safaree over child-related expenses. Posing alongside her lawyer, Lisa Weber, Mena explained that she had been handling medical care, education, childcare, and daily costs for her two youngest children for years. “For 2½ years and counting – I’ve endured malicious filings, unnecessary legal attacks and intentional financial pressure, all while being the only consistent present parent for my two youngest children,” she wrote.

Erica Calls Out Safaree, Demands Accountability

Additionally, Mena emphasized that this victory wasn’t about revenge but about accountability. “After years of intentional hardship and financial burden placed on me, I finally stood up for the expenses I’ve carried alonemedical, childcare, education,” she added. She also called out Safaree’s alleged attempts to reduce child support, saying, “While yesterday was a victory, the reality remains- there is still an ongoing attempt to drastically reduce child support… It’s easy to underestimate the cost of children you don’t actively raise, especially while always publicly flaunting luxury. But children don’t live off appearances. They live off stability, care and responsibility.

Despite their past drama—including Safaree sharing surveillance footage in 2024 allegedly showing Mena assaulting him in front of their kids—the reality star stressed that children need two involved parents, even if one is absent. “While parenting full-time and filling in where effort, presence and responsibility are by choice repeatedly consistently absent,” Mena wrote, “children have two parents. Even when only one consistently shows up.
