This is the first picture of a promising schoolboy footballer who was stabbed to death in a country park in Guildford this week.
Luis Guembes, 15, seen here smiling and hugging his father on a recent family holiday, was found with knife wounds after being attacked on Monday evening.
The teenager, who was originally from Peru, attended All Hallows Catholic School in Farnham and had won trophies playing for a string of youth football teams.
The boy, who also used the name Gabriel, died from injuries inflicted by an attacker at Peacock Wood in Stoke Park on the outskirts of the Surrey town.
Family friend Michelle Alayon shared a tribute on social media, writing: ‘Gabriel was an amazing son and an incredible young soul.
‘He was kind, bright, driven, and full of promise.
‘A devoted student, a passionate soccer player, and a loving son, Gabriel had a smile that could light up a room and a heart that touched everyone he met.
‘He was deeply loved and will be forever missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.’

She said: ‘Gabriel moved to London from Lima, Peru, with his mother at a young age in search of hope, opportunity, and a better future.’
She wrote: ‘We are humbly asking for the support of our community to help cover funeral expenses and help ease the overwhelming financial burden facing this family during a time of profound sorrow.’

Another read: ‘R.I.P my brother will always remember you.’
A well-wisher added: ‘My thoughts go out to the parents, family and friends of Luis. What a b*****y waste of a life.’
