The beloved 90s boyband Five reunited for the first time in 25 years as they performed in Cardiff on Wednesday for night one of their long-awaited tour.
Five sent fans wild earlier this year when Jason ‘J’ Brown, 49, Scott Robinson, 45, Richie Neville, 46, Sean Conlon, 44, and Abz Love, 46, announced they were heading on a tour of the UK for their first shows since disbanding in 2001.
The Keep On Movin’ singers began their long-awaited arena tour at Utilita Arena after the first 12 shows sold out in under three hours.
In an emotional moment on stage, J said: ‘Never in our wildest dreams could me and the guys have imagined we’d share a stage again.
‘It really does show that at the end of the day love conquers everything.
‘The love and the bond that these five dudes have, and everything we’ve been through together, has made this possible. It’s beautiful.’

Sean added: ‘Back in the 1990s when we made this genre of pop, people did not expect for it to mean so much to so many people 25 years on. This is absolutely incredible.’
On their official X page, they posted a video of the gang running onto the stage and said: ‘Our first time back on stage in 25 years in front of our own fans!!! We loved it Cardiff! X’
Fans took to the platform to welcome them back and praise the concert.
They said: ‘The excitement is insane you boys killed that first show, its like you never left’; ‘You smashed the opening of this tour last night. I’m so happy you guys are baaaccckk!!!!’;
‘Congratulations – so happy for you! And for me, who is coming to the Brighton show tomorrow’; ‘Cried all morning watching vids sooooo freaking proud, take a bow gentlemen knocked it out of the arena.’
In a video posted to Instagram, the singers were seen walking around the Utilita Arena Cardiff as they gathered to rehearse for the show.
J was particularly emotional as he toured the venue, having last made a public appearance in 2013 when he featured on ITV2 series The Big Reunion.

Choking back tears, he exclaimed: ‘Oh wow. That’s legitimately quite f***ing epic looking.’
As Ritchie interjected: ‘I’m absolutely buzzing’, J continued: ‘I’m overwhelmed by it because it’s like everything that we should have done with each other before last time around.’
He continued: ‘It should have been this and it never was.
‘The fact that we’ve f***ing come back and we’re still as close as we are with each other and we’re gonna do a show like this.
‘Literally a dream come true.’
The band then came together for a group hug, with Scott Robinson, 45, musing: ‘We did it!’
J added: ‘After f***ing everything. This many years later, we’re all here with each other still like this. We should have always been having it.’
Scott replied: ‘Unbelievable, mate.’
The video was captioned: ‘Saying that tour finally starts tomorrow feels absolutely unreal. We cannot wait to show you what we’ve been working so hard on.
‘It honestly feels like a dream, and we’re ready to give it everything❤️’.
