Former Hollyoaks actress Chelsee Healey has been criticised for sharing a video that showed her eight-year-old daughter making a ‘rude’ gesture on camera.
Chelsee, 37, filmed and posted a clip of her family, including partner Eddie and daughter Coco, enjoying a ‘family day’ while enjoying music in their car.
While Chelsee smiled as she danced in the passenger seat, Eddie was less enthusiastic about the performance, and Coco refused to join in at all.
Instead, she held up her middle finger before raising her leg to kick Chelsee as the mumfluencer seemingly ignored her daughter’s gestures and continued performing.
‘What our family days look like!’ Chelsee wrote over the video, before quipping: ‘Coco is just happy to be here.’
The clip sparked backlash as TikTok users questioned Coco’s behaviour and called out Chelsee’s parenting style, before the actress hit back at the criticism in the comments section.
‘What a polite, well-mannered little girl, you must be so proud,’ one person wrote sarcastically.
Another added: ‘How old is she? I’d be mortified if my seven-year-old acted like this.’

A third person said they ‘can tell you’ve disciplined your daughter well’ before Chelsee replied: ‘Soz mother earth.’
Some said it was ‘sad to see her glued to her phone’ while other felt the video was ‘rude’ and ‘not funny at all’.
One comment read: ‘Wow, good luck to you when she’s a teen.’
However, others defended Chelsee, who also has a two-year-old daughter, amid ‘all these hate comments’.
‘People in the comments, honestly, my daughter is worse and she’s 11, but guess what, good for them!’ one person wrote.
Another said: ‘Half of you probably don’t have kids. She’s a mother doing it her own way, if you don’t like it leaveeeee.’
‘That is hilarious, kids are funny, a third wrote.
Chelsee, who appeared on Dancing on Ice last year, has two daughters.
She welcomed Coco with her former partner Jack Molloy in 2017 and shares two-year-old Cookie with her current partner, Eddie Rainford.
Last June, Chelsee watched in court as Eddie was jailed for his role in a ‘wholesale’ drug-dealing operation.
Manchester Crown Court heard how former Royal Marine commando Rainford, along with another man Jay Boyd, 28, had allegedly ‘headed’ an Organised Crime Gang (OCG) that dealt ‘multi-kilos’ of cannabis.
He was sentenced to two years for supplying large quantities of cannabis, but was released early from prison in November.
A source had previously told The Sun how he was expected to get an early release, saying: ‘Chelsee has stayed with Eddie since his sentencing.
‘She vowed to stay by him for the sake of their daughter and she is really looking forward to their future together. It won’t be long until they are a happy family again.
‘Chelsee feels like she will finally be able to move on with her life when he’s out.’
Chelsee, who played Goldie McQueen on the Channel 4 soap, has since given fans a glimpse into their relationship by sharing clips of the pair together on TikTok.
She also documents her life as Coco and Cookie’s mum – leading to some fan criticism about her parenting style.
When Cookie was born in December 2023, Chelsee was criticised for her choice of name.
One Instagram follower commented: ‘Stop choosing names for your kids that people will bully them with because you want to be ‘special”.
Which prompted Chelsee to fire back: ‘@amber.darke any kid bullies my kids [angry emoji] we don’t tolerate bullies bring your kids up better and mind your business’ [sic].
Chelsee also heartbreakingly revealed how Coco has received racist abuse from online trolls, adding: ‘When it’s about an innocent child, it’s not nice.’
