She is a style icon famously remembered by the Union Jack dress she wore at the 1997 Brit Awards.
And Geri Horner revealed one of her own fashion inspirations as she put her dressmaking skills to the test in a video for her new YouTube series Rainbow Woman on Sunday.
The former Spice Girl, 48, recreated a ‘timeless’ white Givenchy dress worn by Audrey Hepburn in Rome in 1964, which she sewed by hand using a dress pattern.

Speaking about her inspiration for the look, she said: ‘I’ve always loved the power of clothes. Real style never goes out of fashion.
‘I love Audrey Hepburn, I think she’s amazing. So she’s my go-to. There’s something about her just looks effortless.’
The video shows Geri tracing and cutting out a dress pattern on white material and then sewing the pieces together using a sewing machine.
Geri proudly shows off the final results, posing in front of a mirror in the classic dress and then steps into a white Porsche and drives away.
She also posted pictures of the elegant dress to her Instagram page, captioning the post: ‘Got my scissors out! Dressmaking inspired by Audrey Hepburn, her style is timeless’.

The mother-of-two has written, directed and executive produced the series, Rainbow Woman, which is slated as ‘a collection of vibrant vignettes following her on big and little adventures, each hued with humour and their own message of hope and positivity.’
In the trailer she is seen sailing, driving an army tank, hanging out with an elephant, riding her beloved horse Beauty, attempting beekeeping and becoming emotional at times.
Her children Bluebell, 14, and Monty, three, also make an appearance, as well as her mother Ana Maria.
A new episode is unveiled every Sunday on Geri’s YouTube channel.
