Maxwell is preparing a commutation application for approval by the Trump administration, according to House Judiciary Committee Democrats. Representative Jamie Raskin sent Trump a fiery letter on Sunday, repeating accusations of corruption from an alleged whistleblower claiming she is receiving preferential treatment in prison.

The six-page letter accused the President of allowing 'a corrupt misuse of law-enforcement resources' and demanded testimony from the Deputy US Attorney General Todd Blanche before the Judiciary Committee. Raskin claimed that Blanche, Pam Bondi's deputy and Trump's former attorney, was involved in a 'potential exchange of favors.' The Democratic lawmaker claimed that a July meeting between Blanche and Maxwell resulted in a deal 'for false testimony exonerating you [Trump] and other Epstein accomplices.'

Blanche and Maxwell met over a two-day period in July to discuss Epstein's case and potential other accomplices. Maxwell is serving a 20-year sentence for her role in assisting the [child predator] billionaire with [sexual] trafficking crimes. Maxwell's recorded testimony exonerated Trump of any wrongdoing amid scrutiny over the President's personal relationship with Epstein. Following the closed-door meeting with Blanche, Maxwell was transferred to a minimum security prison in Texas where she is reportedly 'much, much happier.'

Raskin's recent letter is a follow-up to a prior statement Democrats sent to the Department of Justice accusing the administration of 'apparent flagrant violation of BOP [Bureau of Prison] policies, including one that explicitly prohibits the placement of [sexual] offenders in such facilities.' Previously, Maxwell was serving out her prison sentence for assisting Epstein in FCI Tallahassee, which is a 'low security' prison for men and women. However, her latest prison pad is a 'minimum security' camp for only women.

Maxwell, however, now plans to send a commutation application to Trump via her lawyer Leah Saffian, according to allegations from an unidentified whistleblower. 'I am struggling to keep it all together as it is big and there are so many attachments,' Maxwell wrote in an email with the subject line 'RE: Commutation Application.' Maxwell plans to send the application materials through the prison's warden for the administration to review. If Trump approves Maxwell's request, her 20-year [sexual] trafficking sentence will be significantly reduced.

Maxwell added, 'More coming to replace others... hopefully it will all make sense.' The Supreme Court rejected Maxwell's conviction appeal last month, meaning a pardon or commutation from Trump is her only hope for freedom. White House spokesman Abigail Jackson told the Daily Mail: 'The White House does not comment on potential clemency requests. As President Trump has stated, pardoning Ghislaine Maxwell is not something he has thought about.'
