A giggling Trump gushed about his ‘No. 1 fan’ Nicki Minaj as he admitted to being transfixed by her distinctive features.
The president made the remarks during the 100th annual Black History Month reception at the White House on Wednesday.
The commander-in-chief revealed he could not keep his eyes off the 43-year-old rapper and even asked her about her striking looks.
He giddily praised the Anaconda hitmaker, saying ‘How about Nicki Minaj? Do we love Nicki Minaj?
‘I love Nicki Minaj, she was here a couple of weeks ago, she’s so beautiful,’ he gushed. ‘Her skin is so beautiful, I said, “Nicki you’re so beautiful.”‘
His remarks earned raucous laughter from those in the crowd.
‘Her nails are so long, I said “Nicki, are they real?”‘ he asked, while making a 50-50 hand gesture.
‘She didn’t want to get into that,’ Trump chuckled. ‘But she was so beautiful and great. And more importantly – she gets it.’

The comments were the latest development in the pair’s ‘political love affair’ and came after Minaj was ridiculed for her bizarre tribute to Trump on President’s Day.
Minaj paid homage on X by posting two photos that were digitally altered to replace what looked to be her husband, Kenneth Petty, with the president’s likeness.
The duo sported Barbie pink outfits while cruising in a car, with the digitally altered Trump throwing the ‘okay’ symbol up with his hand.
The post sparked major backlash, as the rapper was slammed as ‘cringe’ and ‘tacky’ for the AI generated pictures.
The lovefest began in earnest when Minaj unexpectedly joined the president on stage back in January, for an event at Trump’s Accounts Summit in Washington D.C.
The rapper emerged in a furry white coat sporting her multi-inch-long acrylic nails and spoke enthusiastically about the president.
She then ramped it up a notch by firmly grasping Trump’s hand in her own.
Trump praised Minaj for investing hundreds of thousands into accounts for children, then went off script to invite her on stage alongside businessman and Daily Mail contributor Kevin O’Leary.
She gushed about Trump despite the ongoing criticism over her outward support for the president.
‘I am probably the president’s No. 1 fan,’ Minaj reaffirmed from the podium. ‘And that’s not going to change.’
She said any hate towards the president motivates her and his backers to support him even more.

‘We’re not going to let them get away with bullying him, and, you know, the smear campaigns – it’s not going to work, OK? He has a lot of force behind him, and God is protecting him. Amen?’ she concluded.
Minaj was attending the event on January 28 as a big supporter of his new childhood investment savings accounts, Trump said.
‘Nicki makes a lot of money and she’s generously stepping up,’ he said at the time.
He detailed: ‘She’s investing hundreds of thousands of dollars in Trump Accounts to support the children and really, the children of her incredible fans. That’s great – focus on that.’
The so-called Trump accounts would provide children born between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2028 with a tax-advantaged investment of $1,000 provided by the Treasury Department.
That $1,000 stipend could be built on with up to $5,000 in annual investments.
If a family made no additional contributions beyond the initial $1,000, a child with a Trump account could expect to have approximately $18,000 when they turn 28.
