Gisele Bundchen looks unrecognizable as she appears on her first Vogue cover since her shock split from NFL star Tom Brady last year.
The supermodel, 42, is Vogue Italia’s March cover story, which the magazine debuted along with five breathtaking inside images captured by Brazilian photographer Rafael Pavarotti on Wednesday.
The shoot is centered around the idea of transforming Gisele’s natural beauty into something ‘unrecognizable.’
Gisele has graced 142 international Vogue covers over the span of her decades-long modeling career.
Just months after finalizing her and Brady’s divorce, Gisele marked her return to modeling by posing for a sexy campaign for Louis Vuitton in January.

For her latest Vogue cover, Gisele looks statuesque posing in a red Valentino gown with her trademark golden tresses hidden beneath a slick of red hair.
Looking almost vampiric, Gisele’s sun-kissed glow is replaced with a porcelain complexion amplified with a blood red lip and smokey eyeshadow.
Straight out of the 90s, the Brazil native’s eyebrows are finely drawn on with red pencil.
The Valentino gown had a corset bodice and batwing sleeves made of elegant, sheer fabric that added drama to Gisele’s elegant pose.
Large, diamond earrings framed her face as she gazed into the camera lens.
Keeping her Elvira-approved visage, Gisele strikes a pose in a black vinyl jacket with the collar turned up and large, silver wrist cuffs. Skintight black pants complete the rebel chic look.
Gisele explores out-of-this-world eras of glamour in the magazine’s glossy pages.
Fans can see Gisele as everything from an ab-baring femme fatale, a sensual red-haired diva or a vintage screen siren in see-through mesh gown.
Each of her breathtaking looks were styled by acclaimed stylist Ib Kamara, who also serves as the editor-in-chief of Dazed.
The photo shoot was captured at Pier59 Studios in New York City with sets designed by Ibby Njoya.
Dolce & Gabbana founders Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana gushed over working with Gisele in a statement included in her cover story.
‘We started working with her in the early 2000’s, she perfectly embodied our creative vision,’ they began, describing the legendary model as ‘unique, extraordinarily beautiful and spontaneous.’

After over a decade of being one of Hollywood’s power couples, rumors began to circulate about the state of Gisele and Tom’s marriage.
Following months of speculation and Brady’s shock decision to un-retire from football for one last season with the Buccaneers, Gisele filed for divorce in October.
They confirmed the news in statements shared to their respective Instagram pages, with Tom calling the split ‘painful’ and Gisele stressing that ‘the decision to end a marriage is never easy.’
They both vowed to ‘continue co-parenting to give them the love, care, and attention they greatly deserve.’
Tom and Gisele initially met in the mid-2000s and began dating in 2007. They were engaged by January 2009 and just one month later they tied the knot.
Over the course of their 13-year marriage, they welcomed two children: son Benjamin, 13, and daughter Vivian, 10.
Tom retired from football for the second time earlier this month and Gisele has since relaunched her modeling career after putting it on the back burner to be a hands-on mom.
Page Six previously reported that Tom and Gisele had an ‘ironclad prenup’ that allowed the couple – who have an estimated combined net worth of $733million – to quickly settle their divorce.
‘They both have their own separate business entities, so the separation of their wealth wasn’t that complicated in the end,’ a source told them. ‘The only other major factor was dividing up their massive property portfolio.’
It was claimed that the NFL legend – who is said to be worth approximately $333million – would gain full ownership of the former couple’s $17million mansion in Miami’s Indian Creek Island, which is often referred to as ‘Billionaire Bunker.’
Tom and Gisele snapped up the waterfront property in 2020 before demolishing it and beginning construction on their dream home, which is still underway.
As for Gisele – who is considered the highest paid supermodel in the world with an estimated $400million net worth – sources claimed that she would keep their vacation home on the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica.
She quietly purchased a modest $1.25million Miami Beach home in February and has reportedly purchased a larger property also in the Miami area. They are expected to share custody of their two children.
