After small stints in such MTV fare as Failosophy and Nick Cannon Presents: Wild ‘N Out, the New York-born funnyman got his big break in 2014 when he joined the cast of Saturday Night Live.
He had the honour of being the first SNL cast member to be born in the 90s and one of the youngest ever.
He eventually left SNL in 2022, but his star has continued to rise thanks to roles in the likes of The Suicide Squad, Bodies Bodies Bodies, and The Jesus Rolls, a spin-off of The Big Lebowski.
He also tragically lost his father, a New York firefighter, in the September 11, 2001 World Trade Centre terror attack.

The funnyman looked completely unrecognisable as he made his way through Sydney Airport.
Pete was clearly keen to keep his famous visage under wraps, stepping out in a disposable face mask that, when coupled with his thick black sunglasses, completely covered his face.
He enhanced the air of mystery by pulling up the hood of his black sweater and wearing a black Limousine Skateboards beanie.

Pete finished the casual look with a pair of green and white New Balance sneakers that he paired with quirky South Park socks.
He accessorised with a pair of earphones connected to his phone, which sat in his jacket pocket.
The Dirt star also carried a vintage red and black Marlboro bag over his shoulder.
Despite wanting to pass by unrecognised, Pete did let his mask slip at one point.
He was spotted chatting to a fan in the terminal, politely removing the face covering.

After leaving the airport, Pete made a beeline to the nearest Ugg Shop to pick up some iconic Antipodean sheepskin footwear.
It comes as Pete revealed in July that he and Elise were expecting their first child.
The couple, who debuted their romance in March, announced the happy news on social media – with a shirtless Davidson cradling Hewitt’s bump, alongside the caption: ‘welp now everyone knows we had sex.’
Other photos captured the couple celebrating in white, sharing a scan of their unborn child and attending an ultrasound appointment – just two months after Elise disclosed her endometriosis surgery to the Daily Mail.
Pete – who got sober last year – has mostly kept his relationship with Elise, an English model, out of the spotlight since going public in March 2025.
In May, the pair were united at the Endometriosis Foundation of America event in NYC, where Elise shared that Pete had been a doting boyfriend during her recovery.
‘I feel so much better, it’s actually insane,’ she said before gushing about how Pete takes ‘very good’ care of her.
‘He has all the heating pads, all the water bottles ready to go, feeds me. It’s very sweet.’
