Five outrageous Guns ’N’ Roses stories

Here are five outrageous Guns’N’ Roses stories.

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel

Welcome to MetLife Stadium.

Concerts return to the MetLife in East Rutherford with the Guns N’ Roses show on Thursday, Aug. 5. It’s the first concert at the venue since the 2019 season.

Guns N’ Roses played its first show since the start of the outbreak on July 31 at Hershey Park Stadium in Hershey, Pennsylvania. They’re calling it the “We’re F’N’ Back” tour, and Wolfgang Van Halen’s new band, Mammoth, is opening.

The concert at MetLife is rescheduled from July 18, 2020. Tickets for the original date are valid for Aug. 5.

The setlist on opening was similar to the one the band has played since reuniting with Slash and Duff McKagan in 2016 for the Not In This Lifetime tour, according to Rolling Stone. Here’s what they played:

It’s So Easy

Mr. Brownstone

Chinese Democracy

Welcome To The Jungle

Double Talkin’ Jive

Slither

Better

Estranged

Live and Let Die

You’re Crazy

Rocket Queen

You Could Be Mine

I Wanna Be Your Dog

Civil War

Dead Horse

Sweet Child O’ Mine

November Rain

Tickets, starting at $29.50, are available for Thursday’s show via Ticketmaster.

As for MetLife Stadium, face masks are not required, and you do not have to show a vaccination card or provide proof of a negative test to get into the show. The venue has implemented new “Stadium Safe” protocols, which includes “enhanced and frequent cleaning and disinfecting” throughout the stadium.
