Harry’s styles always make headlines.
The “As It Was” singer, 28, performed on the “Today” show Thursday in a striped JW Anderson jumpsuit that — as with most things he wears — quickly sparked memes.
“Why is Harry Styles looking like [a] candy cane,” one fan tweeted, sharing side-by-side photos of the former One Direction member’s look and a similarly striped sweet.
Others couldn’t help but compare the “Adore You” singer to a creepy-crawly critter.
“I don’t know what inspired the designer to make that suit but it’s curious that it reminds me of the black swallowtail caterpillar,” one wrote, sharing photo evidence.
“Man out here dressed like a fruit stripe gum wrapper,” a third quipped.
Styles explained his outfit choice during the show, saying, “Well, it’s early, so I wanted to be comfortable. I thought, sleeping bag, babygro, I’m going for comfort. And I thought I could soak up some of the rain with this.”
Fans of the star camped out in the downpour to see Styles perform at the “Today” Plaza. He sang a few songs from his upcoming album “Harry’s House,” including “Boyfriends,” “Daylight” and “As It Was,” as well as “Fine Line” favorites “Golden” and “Watermelon Sugar.”
Those eager to cosplay sugary treats or insects à la Styles can pick up the dress version of his jumpsuit for $655.
