Let me first say that beginning my headline with “Flying Pigs Alert” had nothing whatsoever to do with the appearance or behavior of twice-failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. No way. You know, the saying means the same thing as “Hell freezes over,” right? So yeah — Hillary’s a peach.
Anyway, there’s a strong argument to be made that Hillary, whose years of visceral hatred of President Donald Trump couldn’t continue to be more obvious, remains the hood ornament of the Democrats’ Trump Derangement Syndrome Clown Car — at least 10 years after she was first stricken by TDS.
I make the above point as a prelude to what you’re about to read, because what you’re about to read could have been written by our friends at The Babylon Bee, my favorite satire site on the planet.
So here’s the deal:
During an interview on the “Raging Moderates” podcast, released on Friday, Hillary told co-host and Democrat political strategist Jessica Tarlov — who’s also a left-winger on Fox News Channel’s mega-hit show “The Five” — that she’d willingly nominate Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize if he could negotiate an end to the Russia-Ukraine War — with one condition (emphasis, mine):
Honestly, if he could bring about the end to this terrible war, if he could end it without putting Ukraine in a position where it had to concede its territory to the aggressor, could really stand up to Putin — something we haven’t seen, but maybe this is the opportunity — if President Trump were the architect of that, I’d nominate him for a Nobel Peace Prize.
Whoa. Who was that woman, and what did she do with the real Hillary Clinton?
A RedState reported earlier, Trump is set to meet with the Russian strongman in Alaska, Friday, where the two leaders will discuss Russia’s continuing war against Ukraine and a possible ceasefire.

Whether or not the summit turns out “great” will be principally dependent on the commitments — and more importantly, the actions — of the Russian dictator, whom Trump has in the past rightfully described as playing nice during phone calls between the two, only to continue bombing Ukrainian cities afterward.
While it’s unknowable what was really behind Hillary’s “gracious” offer, I’m more than a bit skeptical. I mean, the notion of Hillary Rodham Clinton — of all people — nominating her arch enemy for the prestigious award is, well, a “flying pigs alert” moment.
Unsurprisingly, Hillary also reverted to familiar form, slamming Trump as too “thin-skinned” to have access to America’s nuclear codes, adding: “He praises dictators like Vladimir Putin and picks fights with our friends.”
And in a late-March op-ed for The New York Times, titled “How Much Dumber Will This Get?“, Hillary went full-metal TDS:
The Trump approach is dumb power. Instead of a strong America using all our strengths to lead the world and confront our adversaries, Mr. Trump’s America will be increasingly blind and blundering, feeble and friendless.
While I won’t spend time revisiting any number of Trump’s significant wins for the American people during the first six months of his second term, I will note that Mrs. Clinton’s above foolishness hasn’t aged well at all as a result.
The Bottom Line
Trump Derangement Syndrome is a progressive mental affliction that worsens as time goes on. Arguably, no one — and I mean no one — on earth has suffered more from late-stage TDS than Hillary Rodham Clinton, bless her heart.
