A couple in their 40s have been found dead inside a small-town home.
The bodies of a 47-year-old man and a woman aged 41, were discovered on a property in Bordertown, a remote town in South Australia’s east, on Sunday night.
SA Police said officers were called to the home for a welfare check about 11pm.
‘The investigation is in its early stages, but police are not seeking any suspects in relation to this matter,’ it said in a statement.
Police confirmed the man and woman were in a domestic relationship.
Limestone Coast detectives, SA Police Forensic Response Section and the Major Crime Investigation Branch attended the scene on Melvyn Street, which leads to the town’s cemetery.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
Anyone with relevant information was urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
