He has died because of a heart attack which he suffered on Sunday morning, it has been stated, he was in critical condition at Sengkang General Hospital, he was a known member of the 1977 Malaysian team which was a winning side, he became the poster boy for the team, it was because of his good looks and his dribbling ability and skills.
It seems like the Football Association of Singapore has paid tribute to Mat Noh in a Facebook post, as they recalled his famous goal in the first round of the world cup qualifiers on 6th March in the year 1977, he fired a thrashing penalty to make it 1-0 which took place at the Kallang stadium which was against a strong Malaysian side which is still regarded as one his best performance.
