ICE Agent Renee Good Hit With Her Car Suffered Internal Bleeding

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent whom Renee Good apparently tried to run over with her car in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Jan. 7, suffered internal bleeding, a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official confirmed to The Federalist.

Good was ultimately fatally shot by agent Jonathan Ross. Video evidence indicates that Ross acted in self-defense, as Good accelerated while Ross was standing in front of her vehicle, contrary to the orders of agents who were attempting to halt her obstruction of immigration enforcement operations.

Ross’s injuries include internal bleeding in the torso, but their extent is unclear. While corporate media will likely claim dismiss the physical harm Good caused with her vehicle (while continuing to demonize Ross and ICE generally), Ross’s injuries add to the growing body of evidence that seems to prove his use of force was justified.

The rapid spread of multiple video angles of the incident on social media consistently eroded the corporate media’s anti-ICE narrative, as critical evidence was available for public review. In many ways, this was a complete reversal of the situation in 2020 when George Floyd died of a fentanyl overdose, with police officer Derek Chauvin being blamed for his death. It took two months for the release of video evidence showing the fuller context of the arrest, and deadly and destructive riots exploded all over the United States.

In the case of the Good’s death, information and evidence moved quickly because the internet — particularly social media service X — has largely been liberated from the censorship of left-wing crisis actors and their allies. As a result, Americans were able to review multiple angles of Good’s car-ramming of Ross within hours.

On the day of the attack, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed that Ross had been hit by the vehicle, taken to the hospital, treated, and released. Soon after, DHS confirmed that Ross had actually been involved in another car attack during an enforcement operation in June, which resulted in him being dragged for about 50 yards by a car, requiring 33 stitches for his wounds.

Since Good’s attack, Ross has apparently received “several threats against his life,” according to U.S. Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino, who said Ross had been taken to “a safe location.” Bovino added that Ross is “recovering from those injuries, and we’re thankful that he’s recovering.”

Ross’s newly revealed injuries provide confirmation of the evidence already known within hours of the incident: Good was obstructing law enforcement operations and rammed her car into Ross, seemingly intentionally, after multiple ICE agents attempted to prevent her from further interfering with the operations.

None of that evidence stopped the left’s propaganda machine from churning out false narrative after false narrative.

From the start, the legacy media told its audience that Good was never an activist, that she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, and she had just dropped her child off at school and was on her way home when Ross shot her in cold blood.

But the evidence shows that Good was intentionally blocking ICE vehicles, actively taunting ICE officers, and refusing to comply with lawful orders given by those officers. She was reportedly part of an anti-ICE insurgency cell called “ICE Watch,” where she was trained as a “warrior” to interfere with the enforcement of immigration law.

Media and other Democrats also attempted to say Good’s vehicle never made contact with the officer or merely “slightly brushed” him, that she was simply trying to get out of the way because she was scared, and that she was confused by conflicting orders.

An agent cannot suffer internal bleeding if he was never hit, however; but on top of that, video evidence documents her wheels were aimed at the ICE officer and appears to show her looking directly at him when she accelerated into him. Moreover, the only order given was that she should stop and get out of her vehicle, leaving no room for confusion.

After it was demonstrated that Good’s car did make contact with Ross, leftist pundits downplayed the collision, presenting it as causing little or no damage. Ross’s internal bleeding contradicts these narratives, but regardless of the injuries, using one’s vehicle as a deadly weapon poses an obvious threat to life.

Ross would have been justified in shooting Good had she never made contact, because her actions could be legitimately interpreted as an attempt to injure or kill him with the car. If someone points a firearm at another person, for example, but the other person shoots the first party before he can pull the trigger, that would still be considered self-defense. In this case, Good did “pull the trigger,” but her “shot” only injured Ross rather than killing him.
