Where Is Social Media Getting This Collab Info From?

Streamer Deshae Frost first sparked the conversation of a collaboration when he spilled unheard details during a live stream. While chatting with his fans, he casually said his mom-manager hit him up about a potential cameo in a music video featuring none other than Ice Spice and Latto.

“They said Latto and Ice Spice want me to be in their music video today, at 4 pm in Atlanta,” he said.

Deshae mentioned he was torn about going due to his packed schedule but seemed to make up his mind, saying, “I gotta go back earlier, get a haircut, and then go do that, bro. Hopefully, I can stream it. I’m about to ask them.” No word yet on whether Deshae actually pulled up to the video shoot or if there really was one! However, his comments immediately raised eyebrows on the internet!

Alleged Cover Art Emerges On Social Media

Then, on Wednesday, August 3, things got real when Complex and XXL Mag shared what’s believed to be the official cover art for a track called ‘Gyatt.’ The image shows Ice Spice and Latto posing side by side in what looks like a boxing ring, with the song’s title right behind them.

Meanwhile, clips that were believed to be leaked song snippets started floating around on X. In one snippet, Latto kicks things off with her signature flow before Ice Spice slides in with her verse. Fans are already eating it up, although the full version won’t be released until later this week. Per Apple Music, the leaked audio turned out to be the official audio after all, as heard in the 30-second preview on the aforementioned platform.

Ice Spice Previously Addressed Latto Feud Rumors

Now, let’s talk about the elephant in the room… their rumored beef. Last year, the internet was in a frenzy when fans thought Ice Spice and Latto were throwing shade at each other. It all started when folks allegedly noticed similarities in Latto’s style after Ice’s rise to fame. Then, when Ice dropped ‘ThinkUTheShhh’ with the line, “Think you the sh**? You not even the fart,” fans swore it was aimed at Latto. The ‘Big Energy’ rapper seemingly clapped back, posting a cake shaped like a pile of poop on X with the caption, “Think I’m the sh**, b*tch????”

In a Rolling Stone interview, Ice Spice set the record straight, calling it “friendly competition.” She said:

“I feel like if we ever spoke and I asked her, ‘What’s the issue?’ it’d be like a blank stare. It’d really be no issue whatsoever. Especially from me. I can understand a friendly competition, but I just feel like, at this point, it’s a joke that she’s just dragged out, and it’s just not even funny.”

Now, despite keeping things cute in the interview, Ice did point out how Latto turned a celebratory moment into shade, saying, “You’re going to post a piece of sh** cake to announce something that’s good news for you? But it is kind of a compliment because you’re making it about me … again.”
