The first season of the nail-biting game show Beast Games has ended with the incredible moment contestant Jeffrey Randall Allen won a record breaking $10 million.
Allen, known as player 831, beat out hundreds of contestants on the game show, hosted by co-creator and YouTube known as MrBeast, to win the cash prize after a tense episode going head-to-head with one other player, Twana Barnett.
The show began with 1,000 players competing in a series of tasks that challenged contestants to use their decision-making skills to outplay others. As the number of players got lower, strategy was a necessity to move forward.
The final episode began with the final six players who were eventually dwindled down to just Allen and Barnett.
In the final showdown, it came down to a battle of being able to read the opponent, with Allen having to guess which briefcase out of ten Barnett had hidden the $10 million check inside.
After picking between heads and tails, Allen was blindfolded as he waited for the check to be put in a briefcase.
In a miraculous moment, Allen opened the case to reveal the check in the very first round.
In the tense final episode, Allen was initially pitted against five other contestants, including player 974 who eventually bowed out of the top three with winnings of more than $1million
In the final showdown, Allen was forced to choose one briefcase out of 10 he believed contained the winning check and chose correctly the first go
In the incredible moment, he celebrated by sliding down the mountain of cash before his wife and one of his two sons joined him on set
The tension ended as a bright light illuminated Allen’s face, followed by cheering.
In the incredible moment, he celebrated by sliding down the mountain of cash before his wife and one of his two sons joined him on set.
The winner previously said on the game show that his son, Lucas, suffers from a rare brain disease called Creatine Transporter Deficiency. Allen pledged that he would put his staggering cash prize toward finding a cure.
‘Hey, give me a hug sweet boy,’ Allen was heard saying to his son, before hugging his opponent who offered her congratulations.
‘Can you believe that? $10 million,’ Allen said to his wife who responded through tears with, ‘You’re gonna find Lucas a cure.’
His heartwarming pledge goes hand in hand with Allen’s current work as the leader of LUCA and 0718 which aim to provide to vulnerable populations.
He further serves as Vice Chair Board of Directors as a Volunteer at the Association for Creatine Deficiencies, an organization that advocates for his son’s disease.
The show aired its finale on Thursday after first premiering on December 19, 2024.
Twana Barnett was praised for her integrity and took home more than $100,000 but was ultimately eliminated as the second to last player

In the typical style MrBeast is known for, throughout an array of mental and physical challenges, smaller prizes went up for grabs to tempt players to exit without taking home nothing.
At times, these decisions could impact others, which forced players to have to choose between succeeding individually, or helping their team.
Initially when the show kicked off, the prize pool was set at an enticing $5 million -that was until the final six had a chance to double the final takings with the flip of a coin. Had the coin landed on the wrong side, the player who flipped it would have been sent home.
With Allen winning the main prize, the previously eliminated 999 contestants didn’t go home empty handed. One player left the show with a $1.8 million private island, another with $1 million and two with more than $200,000.
As the credits rolled at final end, MrBeast revealed that throughout the entirety of the series more than $20 million had been given away to 85 out of the 1,000 players.
Every player was given $2,000 for competing.
Throughout the season, Beast Game broke over 40 world records which include largest cash prize, most contestants, most cameras ever, most money given away in a first episode, most cables ran for a show and largest island given away in a show.
Although it hasn’t been officially renewed for another season, the YouTube star is ‘100 percent’ sure it will be happening.
Players were initially playing for a final prize of $5 million which was revealed during the first challenge which saw players be tempted to walk away with prizes but eliminate others who left with nothing at the same time
The jackpot was doubled when player 974 flipped a coin. Had it not landed on tails, he would have been eliminated
‘I was told not to talk about [season 2 and 3]. I love what we did with Beast Games. I’m doing it. I loved working with Prime Video so I’m sure we’re going to do it with them. 100 percent. There’s no way we’re not,’ MrBeast said in a previous interview.
The hit game show came under fire last year after five participants sued the YouTube star alleging ‘unreasonable, unsafe and unlawful employment conditions,’ DailyMail.com previously reported.
They claim production teams maintained ‘the strictest control’ over them, including removing their belongings and withholding food, water and medical care to the extent that several contestants were hospitalized for dehydration.
They also accuse the Youtuber of fostering a ‘toxic and hostile’ work environment, particularly for female participants, as a result of ‘boys-will-be-boys working conditions seemingly promoted by Mr Donaldson,’ per the filing.
It alleges that ‘Beast Games production was so void of standards of reasonable care that MrBeast allegedly offered to cover the contestants’ therapy’.
The ‘city’ where contestants carried out a number of challenges cost a whopping $14 million to build

MrBeast posted on X in November of last year: ‘We have tons of behind the scenes dropping when the show does to show how blown out of proportion these claims were. Just can’t release it now because it would spoil the games.’
MrBeast has addressed the allegations in an interview with ABC News’ Good Morning America.
‘I got to let the lawyers handle it, I can’t comment on it,’ he said, before adding: ‘But what I can say – I’ve personally talked to 700-800 contestants, they all want to come back, they all had a great time.
‘And you can watch their content online and I think it speaks for itself.’
Many other contestants came forward to defend the internet personality and the show, claiming that ‘all of our needs were met’ and described it as an ‘absolutely incredible experience.’
