Ivanka Trump, 41, revealed that she and her husband, Jared Kushner, 42, had to rush to the hospital last week after their son Theodore broke his wrist

Ivanka Trump has opened up about how her son Theodore suffered a ‘bad break’ to his wrist while playing soccer at school, saying she had to race to the hospital to meet him.

The former White House senior adviser took to Instagram on Sunday to share photos of her youngest child smiling brightly while being treated at the hospital and later sleeping at home after the ordeal.

‘This week I received a call from the school nurse that every parent dreads. My six-year-old son Theo broke his wrist while playing soccer,’ she wrote in the caption. ‘Since I was over an hour’s drive away, an ambulance took Theo, accompanied by the school nurse, to the closest hospital.’

Ivanka, 41, recalled how she and her husband, Jared Kushner, both rushed to meet their son at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. Jared, 42, ‘arrived at the same time as the ambulance,’ and she got there a few minutes later.

‘It was a bad break, but the capable EMT, doctors, nurses, and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital staff cared for Theo tenderly and professionally,’ the mother of three explained.

‘Theo’s visit culminated with two ice pops, which led to him declaring, “This is the best day ever!” The nurse turned to me and said, “This is why I’m in pediatrics! No adult in the emergency room has ever said something like that when given an ice pop.”‘

Ivanka went on to share how the frightening experience inspired her and Jared to make a donation to the hospital.

‘Jared and I are so grateful to the doctors, nurses, EMTs, and hospital staff who cared for our son. With gratitude in our hearts, we have made a donation to the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital,’ she continued.

She urged her 7.5 million followers to visit the hospital’s donation page, writing, ‘If you want to learn more about the great work they do each year to save and heal hundreds of thousands of kids see link below.’

Ivanka shared the same message and photos on her Instagram Stories.

The first snapshot shows Theo him lying on a stretcher in the hospital with his broken wrist supported in a makeshift sling as he awaits treatment.

‘We’re so grateful for your trust in our skilled medical staff! It’s a privilege to care for Theo, and all the sweet children who come through our doors. Sending you, Theo, and Jared our love,’ the hospital wrote. ‘Thank you for your support — it enables us to continue to provide high-quality care with the utmost compassion.’

Ivanka responded with three prayer emojis.

‘Awww – hope he mends well! It’s so hard in a mother’s heart when our little ones are hurt,’ the singer Jewel added.

‘So true!’ the former first daughter replied. ‘Thank you love. He’s a little warrior. So brave!’

The mom also received messages from Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, a former member of the Trump administration; her brother Donald Trump Jr.’s fiancée, Kimberly Guilfoyle; former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley; and chef Daphne Oz, the daughter of Dr. Mehmet Oz.

Ivanka’s news about her son’s broken wrist comes just days after she channeled her inner cowgirl and posted a snapshot of herself modeling a Western-inspired outfit while on vacation on Thursday.

She had on a black vest and hip-hugging flare pants that revealed her stomach. She topped off the rodeo look with a silver and turquoise concho belt and boots.

The mirror selfie looks to have been taken in a hotel room, but she left fans guessing about her whereabouts — leaving nothing but two cowboy emojis in the caption.

She opted to add audio to the post, choosing cowboy crooner Gene Autry’s 1939 song ‘Back in the Saddle Again.’

A few hours before she posted to her feed, she documented the start of her trip on her Instagram Stories, starting with an aerial view of her mystery destination.

Ivanka went horseback riding after she arrived and included a snapshot of herself in the saddle wearing a cream fleece and brown leggings.

She also captured pictures of her horse up close, a stone building with a large painted wall, and a red-rock formation.

The former first daughter looked to be somewhere in the desert, likely Utah, where she visited with Jared in November.

During their last trip to the state, she and her husband tackled the Cave Peak Stairway at the luxe Amangiri resort near Bryce Canyon.

Ivanka and Jared relocated to Miami with their three children — Arabella, Joseph, and Theodore — after her father, former President Donald Trump, left office in January 2021.

They spent the past two years living at Arte Surfside, a luxury condominium building nestled between Miami Beach and Bal Harbour.

It is one of the most expensive complexes in Miami-Dade County, with an average rental price of nearly $47,000 per month. There is a tennis court on the roof, and the family has their own private pool and yard.

Ivanka and Jared seem to be happier than ever in their new community, where they have found new friends and are getting ready to move into their dream home.

After keeping a relatively low profile, the former first daughter has returned to posting photos on Instagram, and she doesn’t seem to have any desire to return to her old life in Washington, D.C.

In November, she released a statement saying she would not be a part of her father’s 2024 presidential campaign. Instead, she has chosen to prioritize her family and their private life.

It’s unclear what is in store for her career-wise — if anything — after she officially quit politics a few months ago.

Before her father became president, she appeared on his reality show The Apprentice, served as executive vice president of the Trump Organization, and had her own eponymous fashion lines.

She gave up her former life in New York City to serve in the Trump administration and never returned back to it.

Ivanka and Jared are close to finishing the renovations on their $24 million waterfront mansion on Indian Creek, an exclusive island known as the ‘Billionaire Bunker.’

The couple bought the fixer-upper a little over a year after they dropped $31.8 million on a two-acre plot of land on the island in 2020. They plan on moving into the spatial 8,500-square-foot abode with their children once it is finally completed.

They have been seen enjoying walks to Indian Creek, both with and without their children, to check on the progress of their property.

Ivanka and Jared’s current rental at Arte Surfside is set to hit the market for $18.8 million sometime this year, presumably after they move into their new home.
