Conservative influencer Laura Loomer was slammed by JD Vance after she criticized the White House's messaging on abortion

Vice President JD Vance torched a conservative influencer for condemning President Donald Trump’s abortion messaging.

Laura Loomer, a far-right commentator, tried to slam the White House for its participation in Friday’s March for Life event celebrating the overturn of Roe v. Wade.

‘Why is the GOP pushing more abortion messaging in a midterm election year? Didn’t they learn their lesson in 2018?’ Loomer posted.

‘Trump doesn’t like when the GOP focuses on abortion. How many times does he have to say this? Trump gets it. The GOP will blow the midterms,’ she continued.

Her comments immediately ruffled the feathers of Vance, who was a guest speaker at the Washington, D.C., rally, who spoke in addition to pre-recorded remarks from Trump.

‘The president literally sent a video to the March for Life today and encouraged me to accept their invitation, which I was happy to do,’ Vance replied to Loomer.

‘It’s interesting that some ‘conservative influencers’ spend all of their time attacking the administration and sowing division. Disgraceful actually.’

The president addressed the massive crowd in a prepared video where he celebrated the pro-life activists and noted how he wants to bring back God.

‘In 2026, as we celebrate 250 years since our founding fathers recognized the right to life in our Declaration of Independence, I want to thank every single one of you who was out on this winter day,’ Trump said in the video.

‘This is a battle that must be fought, must be won, not only in the corridors of power, but above all, in the hearts and souls of the people,’ Trump said. ‘That is why, under the Trump administration, we’re strongly defending religious liberty. We’re bringing back faith in America. We’re bringing back God.’

The March for Life on Friday was attended by tens of thousands of pro-life activists. The event regulalry held in January and typically brings massive crowds.

Loomer’s overarching point touches on how the GOP was unable to gain traction with voters by being vehemently anti-abortion.

However, Trump and his closest advisors, including Vance, do maintain strict anti-abortion views.

The fallout between Loomer and Vance appears stark when considering the two reportedly met face-to-face in Washington over the summer.

Some in the president’s orbit have recently expressed skepticism about Loomer to the Daily Mail, noting how she has increasingly been at odds with the president’s agenda.

One former White House official flagged to the Daily Mail how Loomer was vehemently against Trump taking action against Venezuela until US special forces pulled off a miraculous snatch and grab to capture ex-dictator Nicolas Maduro.

The influencer also mocked the administration’s $50 million bounty on Maduro, calling it performative and ‘pathetic.’

Trump said that the reward did not lead to Maduro’s capture, however, and he also joked that his administration possibly should be paid the bounty.

One person close to the White House shared that Loomer’s posts ‘aren’t MAGA’s views and are a bit puzzling.’
