Kim Kardashian has been slammed by fans after she revealed she gave each of her four children Pomeranian puppies for Christmas.
The SKIMS mogul took to her Instagram Stories on Thursday to share more about the elaborate gifts, posting pictures of the dogs playing with toys in their crates and cuddling with each other.
She appeared to pick out two with darker fur, and two with light gray fur, as the mom-of-four shared individual snaps of the pets.
In one snap, which showed all four of the dogs cuddled up together on her cozy couch, she wrote, ‘Each kid got a puppy.’
Kardashian has four children, daughters North West, 12, and Chicago, seven, and sons Saint, ten, and Psalm, six, with her ex-husband Kanye West.
Some fans took to Reddit to criticize her gifting decision.
‘Puppies are not Christmas gifts for kids,’ one Reddit user wrote.
Another agreed, ‘Animals and pets are not gifts unless someone has really wanted that pet and will truly look after it. This is f**ked up.’

‘If they each got a puppy then it’s not special at all. How will they learn to love one pet as siblings when they each get a personal dog like it’s a Tamagotchi?’ someone else typed.
One user commented: ‘They don’t realize what a big responsibility having a pet is, they just have it for show and cause it’s small and cute and it’s something kids want but when the pup grows up they no longer care for it. Absolutely ridiculous.’
‘This is honestly so sad,’ another person chimed in.
Someone else seconded, ‘This is wrong on every level in every conceivable way.’
The four new additions to the family aren’t the only Pomeranians that Kardashian owns.
She also has dogs Sushi and Sake, whom she adopted with her sister Kourtney Kardashian in mid 2017.
In 2022, she came under fire after she appeared to show the dogs living in her garage.
At the time, her daughter North, who shares a TikTok account with her mother, posted a video on the social media app that showed the pets walking around the garage in tiny coats.

The video, which seemed to be showing off the pups’ festive setup, included a mini Christmas tree and stockings.
But it was met with fierce backlash as many fans called out the SKIMS founder for not providing her dogs with a better living arrangement.
News of Kim’s extravagant present for her kids comes just one day after she shared the moment that she failed the California Bar Exam on the latest episode of The Kardashians on Hulu.
The 45-year-old has spent the past seven years studying to become an attorney, following in the footsteps of her late father, and OJ Simpson’s lawyer, Robert Kardashian.
As a legal activist, she has secured the release of a string of convicts, starting with Alice Marie Johnson, who was convicted on eight criminal counts in 1996 for her work with a cocaine trafficking ring in Memphis.
Now, the reality show has shown Kardashian fighting back tears as her hopes were crushed, while her family rallied around her to provide her with some comfort.
