BRICK — A Lakewood police officer suffered a concussion and a fracture in an accident on Route 88 in Brick Thursday morning, a Lakewood official stated.
Lakewood Mayor Raymond Coles stated the officer was on-duty when the accident occurred.
He had no additional data on the collision and didn’t know the officer’s title.
It is unclear whether or not anybody else was injured. Three automobiles had been concerned in response to Press photographs from the scene.
The Brick Police Division had not launched particulars of the crash as of Thursday night.

The officer “was handled and launched and is house recovering,” Coles stated. An investigation into the accident is continuous, he stated.
The accident occurred someday earlier than 8 a.m. close to the doorway to Ocean Medical Heart in Brick, between Fort Avenue and Edge streets.
