On Monday, January 19, Desmond Scott returned to social media — seemingly making it clear that despite the recent headlines, he’s back in his posting routine. That evening, he shared a carousel post which showed him cheffin’ it up in his new kitchen. As The Shade Room previously reported, Desmond showed off his new address earlier this month. This, days after Kristy Scott made it clear she plans to keep their family dream home.
“First up Spiced Sweet Potato Soup😮💨 This was so good and full of flavor. Dropping recipe this week,” Desmond captioned his carousel of photos, which showed him peeling sweet potato and cutting up his fresh ingredients before photos of his final plate.

Meanwhile, in Desmond’s comment section, some fans were only pointing out one thing: his cutting board. Furthermore, they appeared to notice that the board was a staple in his cooking content alongside his now-estranged wife, and although they’re divorcing, they remarked that although Desmond is leaving his dream home behind — he’s kept one thing consistent.

Desmond Scott & Kristy Scott Reportedly Move To Seal Divorce Records As His Makeout Partner Marissa Spring Speaks Out
Desmond Scott’s latest social media post arrives amid an ongoing matter in his and Kristy Scott’s divorce. As The Shade Room previously reported, on January 13, details of Kristy Scott’s divorce petition were published by US Weekly. Furthermore, it was reported that Kristy accused Desmond of adultery, noted their marriage as irreparable, and asked for her and Desmond to mutually agree on custody terms for their two sons. Additionally, it was reported that she and Desmond have a marital property agreement. However, she would like him to pay for the case fees and ultimately wants her surname returned to “Small.”
Per their case file, on January 12, the pair filed a joint motion to seal their divorce records from the public.
As of January 13, it appears their request has not been granted.
To note, last week was also eventful for Desmond as TMZ published footage of him kissing a model, now known as Marissa Springer, on January 11, per The Shade Room. Neither Desmond nor Kristy has explicitly addressed the now-viral footage. But Springer has spoken out, claiming she is not the woman Desmond stepped out with.
