Republicans, up to Donald Trump himself, were roundly vindicated on claims that then-President Joe Biden was unfit to serve another four years in office after his disastrous June 2024 debate performance massively exposed not just the poor state of Biden’s health, but the press/White House cover-up that had been ongoing.
In part because of that, Democrats and their mainstream media allies have ramped up efforts they attempted during Trump’s first term to try and prove that he is in a similar condition or, worse, that he’s on his last leg.
We all remember the ridiculous fretting in the Trump 45 era over President Trump once walking down a ramp slowly, as well as the bonkers spin surrounding him once holding a glass of water with both hands.

Trump would get his revenge on the media at a later point, however, mocking them over it during campaign appearances and then waging one of the most amazing political comebacks in American history in 2024.

On Saturday, as I logged on to social media to get a feel for what people were talking about, I noticed hashtags in the trending column that read “#whereistrump” and “#trumpdead” among other things. Doing a little more digging, I discovered there had been a wave of posts on X about Trump allegedly being unwell or not alive since he “hasn’t been seen” in two days.
“Trump is probably resting or even playing Golf today… he deserves it as he’s been working non-stop since he came back into office. Regardless, say a prayer for our President,” one popular X user observed.
President Trump “Goes Missing” from public view and “Trump Died” is trending on X. He has no public events scheduled today or tomorrow.

Upon closer inspection, I learned that the false rumors were being fueled in part by random “news” sites I’d never heard of. The sellouts at the Lincoln Project were also doing their part, including Rick “Boomer Rube” Wilson, who, in between bites of Fruit Loops, apparently spent the first day of the Labor Day holiday weekend gleefully retweeting Weekend at Bernie’s memes and sick conspiracy theories about Vice President JD Vance allegedly lying in wait.
While I won’t post the memes, here’s one tweet from the Lincoln Project that added fuel to the fire:

In an article confirming it, complete with pictures, the New York Post correctly pointed out that “the haters had their hopes dashed Saturday morning when Trump appeared alive and well at the White House.”
