Love Island's Curtis Pritchard, Kyra Lizama, Konnor Ewudzi and Imani Ayan exited the villa on Sunday night

Love Island’s Curtis Pritchard, Kyra Lizama, Konnor Ewudzi and Imani Ayan exited the villa on Sunday night.

In the show’s biggest dumping of the series so far, the four were sent packing after Maya Jama revealed they were the least popular couples.

Following an explosive Movie Night, Maya gathered the islanders around the fire pit, where she announced that Konnor, Imani Ayan, Curtis, Kyra, Sean Stone, Lucinda Strafford, Scott Van-der-sluis, and Sher Suarez were at risk of being dumped.

In a shock turn of events, Maya did not leave the decision of which two couples of the four in the hands of their fellow islanders.

Instead, the couples with the least amount of votes from the public were sent packing.

This caused a wave of emotion throughout the villa with Belle Hassan reduced to tears and claiming the ‘wrong people were sent home’.

Following the two couples’ dumping, Maya had a chat with the four islanders about their experience during the show.

During which, Curtis confessed he had feelings for his former love interest, Millie Court from the first day.

Konnor also confessed that when his former love interest, Whitney Adebayo, told him she was going to explore a connection with other people, he did not feel comfortable being in a triangle.

While Sunday’s episode saw the biggest dumping in the villa so far, fans flocked to X to demand more people to be dumped and questioned why producers brought back the USA contestants just to dump them days later.

One penned: ‘The fact that we still have a couple sleeping downstairs… They really needed to dump at least one more couple.’

‘Can we dump some more couples bc that villa still looks a little crowded to me’

‘We need to dump like four more people, please. There’s too many people in that damn villa.’

‘Why bring the Americans just to dump them?’

It comes after viewers tuned in on Friday to see the islanders split into groups by their genders to watch back footage from the series so far.

Just as producers wanted, tensions rose with Samie and Lucinda having a furious tirade across the table from each other.

Previously, viewers watched as Samie was left seething after Lucinda pied her in the face during a game of Snog, Marry, Pie.

For this year, the game wasn’t limited to the girls and boys against each other.

Lucinda was initially surprised at how Samie had taken the pieing, and their feud rumbled on to the following day during Movie Night.

As the final movie played, the women had engaged in a shouting match, with Lucinda accusing Samie of constantly bad-mouthing her.

Samie was riled by Lucinda laughing as she furiously said: ‘She’s laughing, she thinks it’s funny.’

Shutting her down, Lucinda then hit back: ‘You know what, Samie, you have been so vocal about the Sean thing and you wonder why I pied you.’

Samie dramatically stormed away from the Movie Night, before later returning.

As the back and forth between the two women recommenced, divided Love Island fans flooded social media with comments.

Fans said: ‘Lucinda is a top-tier rage baiter. I cannot believe what she’s doing to Samie rn.’

‘Lucinda’s annoying, but Samie didn’t need to walk away, she’s too easily annoyed & how did Whitney & Leanne end up arguing?’

‘It’s starting to feel like Lucinda thinks she could take Samie but she’s too scared of the others to pipe up to them in the same way. There’s only one way to settle this… FIGHT.’

‘Used to like Samie but god she was irritating tonight, she hates Lucinda! I would always awkward laugh too. Lucinda is a wind-up, but Samie has come across as just b***hy.’

‘Watching belle and Samie bully and gaslight Lucinda but nobody cares because they find her voice annoying is crazy.’

Maya Jama then left the islanders speechless when she arrived with news of an impending elimination twist.

However, viewers will have to wait until Sunday night to see who is sent home.

Love Island continues on ITV2 and ITVX.
