MAFS bosses accused of ‘favouritism’ as damning photo emerges of smiling executive producer Tara McWilliams at the Logies with cast members who received glowing edits – as the ‘villains’ try to rebuild their shattered lives

The creative team behind Married At First has been accused of favouritism after a photo emerged of the show’s executive producer, Tara McWilliams, partying at the Logies on Sunday with a group of cast members who all received glowing edits.

Ms McWilliams, considered one of the most powerful women in Australian television, was pictured alongside MAFS expert John Aiken and participants Domenica Calarco, Ella Ding, Al Perkins and Brent Vitiello at TV’s night of nights on the Gold Coast.

According to one ex-contestant, the photo was a slap in the face to the other MAFS cast members who didn’t get an invite to the Logies and whose reputations were left in tatters due to their ‘bad edits’ on the show.

Outspoken former MAFS groom Nasser Sultan shared the picture on Instagram and wrote: ‘The true definition of favouritism’.

‘With the producer from MAFS and John [Aiken] at the Logies. From zero to heroes editing is a wonderful thing.’

Domenica and Ella were the breakout stars of MAFS this year and now host a chart-topping – but their glowing edits came at the expense of rival bride Olivia Frazer.

Olivia was dubbed the ‘villain’ of the season after sharing a nude photo of Domenica among the cast, thereby outing her as an OnlyFans model.

The makeup artist was humiliated to learn her co-stars knew about her OnlyFans account, and broke down in tears at the dinner party after the couples’ retreat.

Olivia has paid a very heavy price for her mistake.

She lost her dream job as a teaching assistant as a ‘direct result’ of the scandal, and in an ironic twist has now been forced into online sex work herself.

Meanwhile, Al was portrayed as a fun-loving party boy on MAFS – largely at the expense of his ‘wife’ Samantha Moitzi, who was edited to look like a boring shrew.

Brent was also edited to look like the ultimate nice guy while his ‘wife’ Tamara Djordjevic was made to look like the ‘bride from hell’ due to her snobbish attitude.

Tamara is believed to have lost her lucrative job in real estate in part due to her negative portrayal on the Channel Nine series.
