Man Who Allegedly Threw Sandwich at Fed Agent Faces an Even Bigger Consequence – RedState

As we reported earlier, a man who was upset with federal agents in Washington, D.C., is accused of making a very bad decision to hurl a footlong sandwich at a Customs and Border Patrol agent who was helping patrol in the city.

The man, Sean Dunn, 37, also allegedly yelled at the agent, cursing him and calling the agents “fascists,” and said he didn’t want them in his city. The police also allege that he admitted to throwing a sandwich when he was taken to be processed.

Not only is there video of the alleged hurling of the sandwich, but as we reported, U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro announced that the man was being charged with a felony. She wasn’t messing around and said he would be facing a real charge.

“He thought it was funny. Well, he doesn’t think it’s funny today because we charged him with a felony – assault on a police officer. And we’re going to back the police to the hilt. So there! Stick your Subway sandwich somewhere else!”

That’s a big message that such alleged crimes are going to be taken seriously in D.C.

But there’s more.

Now, Attorney General Pam Bondi has weighed in on the incident, and she made a revelation that there was an even bigger consequence for the man’s alleged actions.

If you touch any law enforcement officer, we will come after you.

I just learned that this defendant worked at the Department of Justice — NO LONGER. Not only is he FIRED, he has been charged with a felony.

This is an example of the Deep State we have been up against for seven months as we work to refocus DOJ.

You will NOT work in this administration while disrespecting our government and law enforcement.

According to Bloomberg Law:

Dunn was an international affairs specialist with the Office of International Affairs within the department’s criminal division, according to a Justice Department official. The office handles international extraditions, prisoner swaps, and other overseas operations.

Wow, that’s astonishing. Now, that’s truly a “found out,” big time. How could anyone who holds such a position allegedly be involved in such an action?

But that also brings up another issue – how the Trump team has to be concerned about people employed in such positions to make sure they are adhering to what they should be in the Department of Justice.

Editor’s Note: The days of lawlessness in Washington, D.C. are over. Thanks to President Trump, our nation’s capital will be SAFE once again.
