Fans were shocked as a soap opera legend who has worked with Lindsay Lohan was unveiled during the latest episode of The Masked Singer.
Four contestants – Eggplant, Galaxy Girl, High Voltage and Pangolin – took to the stage to belt out tracks in celebration of this week’s theme: Ozzfest Night.
As the episode came to end, Eggplant and High Voltage battled it out after landing in the bottom two for the Ozzfest Royale.
Eggplant eventually came in last and was subsequently sent home – but not before being unmasked as Jack Wagner, 66, who is known for his roles in General Hospital and The Bold And The Beautiful.
The judges and crowd were left stunned as host Nick Cannon exclaimed, ‘Jack Wagner is in the building!’
He continued, ‘Jack, you shocked everybody. Look at the panel. They’re speechless.’

Shortly before the big reveal, judges Jenny McCarthy, Robin Thicke, Rita Ora and Ken Jeong had the chance to guess who they thought was underneath the costume.
Kelly Osbourne also made a surprise cameo as a guest judge as the episode paid tribute to her late father and rock icon Ozzy Osbourne – who passed away last year in July 2025 at the age of 76.
McCarthy believed that it was Kevin Cronin while Jeong guessed it could have been Rick Springfield.
Ora suspected Eggplant was possibly Nathan Lane and Thicke guessed it was Kenny Loggins. Osbourne also offered her own guess which had been Alice Cooper.
Wagner had the chance to reflect on his time on the show, calling it both ‘a challenge’ and ‘a thrill.’
Cannon questioned the star with a small laugh, ‘All right, Mr. Wagner, how did it feel performing as a giant eggplant?’
The Melrose Place alum replied, ‘Well, I love new characters so this was certainly a challenge. And to bring life to the Eggplant was just such a thrill. So, it was a blessing. Thank you so much.’
Earlier in the evening, Eggplant had offered a few clues into who they could be – and shared that they had previously worked with Sharon Osbourne.

‘We did a bed scene,’ the actor added, causing the judges and audience to burst out into laughter.
‘I hope you weren’t an eggplant,’ Cannon jokingly quipped, before Wagner shared, ‘No, I was a very good boy. But we did share a little hug together.’

Another typed, ‘Jack Wagner?! No way!’ while one added, ‘ugh i can’t believe it was jack wagner.’

He has been portraying the character of Bill Avery on the Hallmark series When Calls The Heart since 2014.
