The Madison follows a New York family whose lives unravel after a tragedy, and they process their grief while vacationing in rural Montana, where they explore human connection amid their profound sorrow.
It comes after Michelle raved she’s ‘lucky in love’ after 32 years of marriage as she commemorated her anniversary with husband David last year.
Michelle, whose films include 1983’s Scarface, 1992’s Batman Returns and 1995’s Dangerous Minds, initially crossed paths with David in early 1993, as they were set up on a blind date.
Michelle told Jimmy Fallon about the way things unfolded with her nascent spouse of more than three decades.
‘I was kind of nervous,’ Michelle said in April of 2022, ‘and I’d had a couple of bad blind dates.
‘And I had sworn off of them, and my best friend said, “Please, just this last time, meet this guy, David Kelley”, and I said okay.’
Michelle, in 1993, had been working toward adopting daughter Claudia, who was two months old when she went home with the actress and her new love.
‘So we had this child with us right away, and most people don’t have that,’ Michelle said in a 2007 interview with the publication Good Housekeeping.

Michelle said that the unique situation helped her see what kind of man David was.
‘But I really got to see him in a situation that certainly would separate the boys from the men,’ Michelle said. ‘Obviously, he really rose to the occasion.’
Michelle said that the events that were happening in their respective lives 32 years ago made for a perfect storm for their relationship.
‘It was sort of perfectly timed,’ Michelle said. ‘We both got to see each other as parents before we progressed in our relationship together, and, in a strange way, it took the pressure off, as a couple.
‘I mean, it’s a real testament to the kind of person he is, but also to the fact that sometimes the traditional way of doing things isn’t always the best way.’
Michelle and David subsequently tied the knot on November 13, 1993, with David adopting Claudia during that time.
In 1994, the couple welcomed another member of the family, in son John Henry.
