More Craziness in Portland As Anti-ICE Mob Finds Out It's Not a Good Idea to Break Open ICE Facility Gate – RedState

My colleague Bob Hoge wrote about some of the craziness at the Portland ICE facility in the wake of the No Kings protests Saturday night. 

They were throwing projectiles at the federal agents, and one even tackled a federal officer in a wild brawl.

It was nuts even by Portland standards. The anti-ICE crew laid siege to the building for some time, even breaking through the front gate twice, breaching the facility. 

They found that it wasn’t a good idea when the agents then came rushing out.

Things did not end well for the pink inflatable frog character when the federal agents got her. All the wind went out of her sails — and her suit. 

You can see another officer get hit with something. The officers nabbed multiple people at that point. The unhinged anger of these people is something else as they wish death on their fellow human beings. “What is wrong with you?!” one of them screeches. No, lady, take a look in the mirror; the problem is with you and your radical buddies. 

But perhaps one of the nuttiest points was when one of them scaled part of the building and kicked out a security camera. You can see the building is already boarded up because it was previously damaged. 

This goes on for some time as he also sprays “F**kkk” on the building and “Pedo.” His buddies throw a rope up. They appeared to be trying to pull something off the building. 

Finally, the Portland Police Bureau declared an unlawful assembly. What took them so long? It’s Portland, and it’s disgraceful. Notice the “Death to ICE Scum” spray-painted on the building now. 

The declaration was made just after 10 p.m. PPB said if people did not move out of the road in front of the ICE facility immediately, they may take crowd control measures. Portland police added that they would be making targeted arrests after observing criminal activity.

Federal agents perched on top of the ICE facility were observed using pepper balls on the crowd around the time of PPB’s unlawful assembly declaration.

All of the people involved in assaults and/or destruction need to be charged and fully held accountable.
