Netflix is preparing to say goodbye to a massive batch of titles next month, and some of the streaming service’s fan favourites are on the chopping block.
The streamer has confirmed a wide range of movies and series will be removed, including much-loved kids shows and a spy blockbuster franchise.
Not one but two of the huge blockbuster spy franchise Mission Impossible’s movies will be cut from the streaming service, with both the 1996 and 2000 releases – the first two movies in the series – among the first to bow out.
And beloved kids series, including Netflix original Adventures of Puss in Boots, and the Thomas the Tank Engine spin-offs Thomas & Friends also waving goodbye.
While it might feel sudden, these removals are part of Netflix’s regular content cycle, and there’s still time to tune in, with a few weeks to go before the titles disappear.
