Nigerian man injured in chain traffic collision in Vietnam

A Nigerian man has been injured in a traffic accident on Ho Chi Minh Road in Gia Lai Province in the Central Highlands, Vietnam. 

 

The Nigerian identified as Lliyabuba, 39, was driving a car on a section of Ho Chi Minh Road through the province’s Chu Se District at around 8:30 a.m on Monday, December 26, 2022, when he collided with a vehicle coming from the opposite direction, said Phan Huu Hieu, chief of staff of the Gia Lai Traffic Safety Department. 

 

Following the initial collision, Lliyabuba’s car collided with another car on the road, also traveling from the opposite direction.

 

All three cars were damaged. Lliyabuba had minor injuries and received first-aid at the site of the collision.

 

An investigation is ongoing.
