Things heated up online after NLE Choppa and Mariah, the mother of his daughter, Clover, continued taking their co-parenting issues to the internet. While NLE Choppa stood ten toes down on being a good father and denied bad parenting accusations, Mariah showed no signs of backing down.

NLE Choppa Defends His Name Against Parenting Accusations Made by His Child’s Mother
On Wednesday, January 21, NLE Choppa’s mother took to social media to share photos and videos of him reunited with his daughter, Clover. The posts showed the rapper smiling alongside his daughter, including a video of Clover running into his arms. She captioned the video, “Look at God.” In the same clip, NLE Choppa asked his daughter if she was happy to see him. You can hear her respond that she was “super happy.”
Following the posts, NLE Choppa took to the internet to share that he had officially reunited with his daughter. He said it was his first time seeing her since September due to ongoing custody issues.
In a lengthy message, he wrote: “Aye mane say mane it’s a damn shame this my first time seeing this girl since September 9th! Because of a bitter mother that WENT AGAINST court order to interfere with custody. Waited patiently for the motion of contempt to happen which was today and the judge got on that now I got my daughter back in my possession RIGHTFULLY SO AND THEM.4 MONTHS WILL BE MADE UP BECAUSE IMMA GREAT DAD AND IF I WASNT I WOULDVE BEEN LOST CUSTODY OF THIS BEAUTIFUL GIRL.GOD DONT LIKE UGLY AND HE DONT PLAY BOUT THEM KIDS. IM FINNA SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT. ALL THE CHASTISING LIES FINNA BE PUT TO REST. WATCH THIS.”
He later appeared on video, holding his finger up while telling viewers to “clock it.” The rapper also addressed CPS involvement, starvation claims, and other accusations.
In a series of additional posts, he wrote: “If I was starving my babys don’t you think I would’ve been in jail ? Or even lost custody ? Let’s be fr Oh and another thing it’s very normal for a little girl to not feel comfortable to discuss things regarding her vaginal area to HER DAD. Bleeding and smal drops of blood isn’t the same for 1. And secondly! It was caused by clover doing splits being a girl doing what girls do ! Last but not least this was the weak amade up reason of why my child was kidnapped but in reality that sh** boil down to some money”
He continued by claiming CPS allegedly found no wrongdoing. In another post, he added:
“Had the motherf***** nerves to call CPS on me for a simple mishap The CPS lady literally was laughing on the phone at HOW RIDICULOUS THE REPORT SOUNDED! CPS went to visit clover literally saw nothing wrong with her or our relationship and they ain’t called the miserable mf since regarding her bs claims EVEN THE JUDGE SAID ! IF IT WAS SOMETHING REALLY WRONG WITH MY PARENTING CPS WOULDVE HAVE FOR SURE STEPPED IN DRASTICALLY TO MAKE ME PAY BUT DID THEY DO SO ? No because the real mf who lost they damn mind AINT MF ME PU***”
Mariah Shares Alleged Message Receipts as She Doubles Down on Deadbeat Dad Claims
Following NLE Choppa’s reunion with his daughter, Mariah stepped into The Shade Room Teens to clear a few things up. She wrote a message to the rapper.
“Worry about not starving my child, taking her out of town without my knowledge, avoiding my phone calls, leaving her at the studio unattended, having her spend the night there on school nights, taking her to school without being bathed, teeth brushed, or a good night’s rest, with the same outfit from the previous day, having everybody have my child but YOU.”
After the rapper shared his statements on social media, Mariah took to her Instagram Story ready to shut things down. She shared alleged messages exchanged between her and NLE over the years, doubling down on claims that he has been a deadbeat father.
“Nothing I say is ever made up or a lie. It’s never that serious. I ALWAYS have receipts to back up anything I say,” she noted.
In the messages she shared, Mariah appeared to ask NLE Choppa to be more involved in their daughter’s life. She also alleged that he missed court-ordered pickup dates and referenced their CPS case. She even pushed back on claims that she was being “bitter,” noting her repeated attempts to have NLE be more involved.
Amid all of this, Mariah referenced an instance where Clover allegedly was left bleeding from her private area after being in NLE’s care.
In a post she wrote, “i know is my baby was left unattended in the studio and came home bleeding vaginally and bled for two days and the ho who knew did nothing is the problem. she had to wait till she came home which wasn’t for another two days to tell me.”
Ultimately, she noted that CPS closing their apparent case doesn’t mean NLE didn’t “do nothing or what happened isn’t true.”

Social media users gathered under The Shade Room Teens’ post as NLE Choppa cleared the air. Some debated the accusations, claiming abuse often gets overlooked by CPS. Many sided with Mariah, saying they would never allow him access if the claims were valid. Others defended the rapper, urging critics to stop believing rumors and let him be an active father.

To note, NLE’s back and forth with Mariah arrives after reports from October 2025 asserted that he was in a custody battle with Marissa Da’Nae, the mother of his son, Chozen, following claims of abuse and child neglect.
