Northwestern University orders students to 'run, hide, fight' after shots fired at Evanston Campus

Northwestern University has ordered students to ‘run, hide, fight’ over an active threat on its Evanston Campus after reports of ‘shots fired.’ 

The X account for the Illinois school posted shortly before midnight: ‘There is an Active Threat event on the Evanston Campus. Run, Hide, Fight. Take proper shelter. Lock and/or barricade doors. Await further information.’ 

‘Northwestern Police are on scene investigating reports of shots fired near 70 Arts Circle Dr on the Evanston campus.’
