A man who was allegedly killed while trying to break up an argument is being remembered as a ‘bright and aspiring’ international student.
Melbourne man Navjeet Singh Sandhu, 22, was allegedly stabbed after a fight erupted at a home in Ormond, in the city’s southeast, at about 1.30am on May 5.
The brawl left Mr Sandhu dead and another man, aged in his 30s, injured.
Police arrested two brothers, 26-year-old Abhijeet Abhijeet and 27-year-old Robin Gartan, on Tuesday after they were tracked down in Goulburn, NSW.

Detectives travelled from Victoria on Tuesday ahead of a court hearing at Goulburn Local Court on Wednesday.
Investigators are expected to apply to have the brothers extradited to Victoria.
Officers who responded to the disturbance outside the Ormond home discovered two men with stab wounds.
A fight reportedly broke out at the property before the physical confrontation spilled out onto the street at about 1am.
The victim in his 30s, who is yet to be formally identified, was taken to hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police believe the men involved in the dispute were known to each other.
