A Sydney woman has come forward to claim the $100million Oz Lotto prize and revealed she plans to quit her job and buy a house with the money

A Sydney woman has claimed the entire $100million Oz Lotto jackpot prize, and plans to quit her job and buy a house.

The woman from Elizabeth Hills in western Sydney took out Tuesday’s night’s jackpot draw in what was the biggest solo win in OzLotto history.

She was called late on Tuesday night by officials from The Lott, who revealed the incredible news.

‘Who is this? Why are you calling this late?’ she said during the call.

‘That’s crazy. I just finished watching tonight’s episode of Married At First Sight, and I was falling asleep as you called me.

‘It’s 10pm here and when I saw multiple missed calls, I thought, ‘Who would be calling me at this time?’ I was worried something was wrong.’

The hardworking woman plans to buy a Sydney home – something that just about requires a lottery win these days.

‘I love my job, but I won’t need to work seven days a week anymore. It’s actually really nice to think that I won’t need to work,’ she said.

‘I’ll finally be able to buy a place of my own. It’s so exciting. I’ll start treating myself more. I’ll go on some holidays.’

Tesday’s jackpot was the largest since 2012, but that prize was split four ways.

Last night’s win was the largest ever OzLotto prize to go to a single person.

An Adelaide man became Australia’s largest-ever individual lottery winner in May, when he claimed the $150million Powerball prize.

Yesterday’s winning numbers were were 3, 34, 35, 26, 44, 39 and 36, while the supplementary numbers were 5, 45 and 6.

Gambler’s Help puts the chance of taking the first-division Oz Lotto prize, by getting all seven numbers correct, at less than one in 62 million.

Punters will not need to wait long for another big jackpot, with Thursday’s Powerball amount already climbing to $60million.
