The big news of today is that Omari Forson starts for Manchester United against Fulham.

His nerves must be jangling right now, mine certainly would be.

Nobody expected him to be in from the start today, but that doesn’t matter, he has the trust of Erik ten Hag.

I remember when Marcus Rashford got his big break, he grabbed it with both hands – can Forson do the same?

Aston Villa are having a fabulous campaign, they currently sit fourth in the Premier League, which nobody would have expected at the start of the season.

However, one of their poorer performances this campaign came against Nottingham Forest in November, where they lost 2-0 at the City Ground.

They will want to make up for that loss today, but face a Forest side who have looked more solid under Nuno Espirito Santo.

It’s set up to be a great game.

The Toffees have been having a horrible time of it recently.

They face a Brighton side today that has won two out of their last three games and sit pretty in seventh place, not an easy game.

Sean Dyche’s are winless in their last eight Premier League matches, last securing a victory back on 16 December – a 2-0 win away at Burnley.

They look in deep trouble at the moment. When they were last in a similar position though, they came to high-flying Brighton and walloped them 5-1.

Is that on the cards again? I doubt it.

Henry Clark at Selhurst Park:

New Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner promised not to change too much, too soon at the club – and it appears he’s going to live by his word as he names an unchanged team for his first game on the touchline.

Palace remain without the injured Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise for this afternoon’s clash with second-bottom Burnley at Selhurst Park.

Man United have always been great at bringing through academy players.

Today, they start with three academy graduates who in total cost them just £325,000 to bring to the club.

Will they do the job for them today?

Just the one change for Everton.

Jack Harrison replaces Ashley Young. Dwight McNeil also starts, he netted a fabulous brace at the Amex last season.

Everton will want him in that mood again today.

Roberto De Zerbi loves to make changes and he’s done so again here.

He makes two changes from the team who romped to a 5-0 victory over Sheffield United last week.

Evan Ferguson and Igor Julio come in for Karou Mitoma – who is injured – and Adam Webster.

Julio Enciso also makes a return to the bench after six months out.

Visiting boss Vincent Kompany has however made some changes to the side who got thumped 5-0 by Arsenal last week – no surprise there.

He makes two changes with Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Charlie Taylor coming in for Aaron Ramsey and Hannes Delcroix.

It’s an unchanged starting lineup for Crystal Palace.

How different will they play under Oliver Glasner, I can’t wait to find out.

It looks like he wants to see how he can develop the team he already has.

It’s a big day for Emi Martinez who is set to make his 150th Premier League appearance today.

It’s been a long journey for the Argentine goalkeeper, but he keeps just getting better and better with age.

Villa are unchanged from their 2-1 win over Fulham last week.

Calvin Bassey has returned to the starting lineup for Fulham after being away at the African Cup of Nations.

He is one of SIX changes to the side that lost 2-1 at home to Aston Villa last week.

A huge day is in store for 19-year-old Omari Forson who is set to make a first Premier League start for Manchester United.

He comes in for Rasmus Hojlund while Victor Lindelof comes in for the injured Luke Shaw at left-back.

The Fulham players are certainly looking comfortable on the Old Trafford turf.

When I see pictures like this I always wonder what was said.

Anyway, they’ll need to be on their game today if they are to get anything from Manchester United.

I’m sure they won’t be smiling if they end up with nothing.

It’s been all change over the past week at Selhurst Park – they have a new man at the helm.

Palace fans will be welcoming their new boss Oliver Glasner with open arms in their match against Burnley today.

You couldn’t ask for a much better match to start with either, Burnley at home, who sit 19th in the table with just 13 points.

However, the Eagles don’t boast a good record against the Clarets, only winning one of their last five meetings. That did come this season though, so that’s a more positive sign.

Will the Eagles get that new manager bounce?

It should be no Hojlund, no problem, right?

Going by these statistics, I don’t think United fans have anything to worry about today.

The Red Devils currently boast a crazy 18-match unbeaten run against Fulham, which includes 15 wins, that runs all the way back to March 2010.

The last time United tasted defeat at the hands of the Cottagers was in December 2009, when were embarrassed 3-0 by the west London side at Craven Cottage.

Fulham’s current away record is pretty rancid too, so I expect a home win in this one.

However, United always throw us some sort of surprise.

Just as Rasmus Hojlund finally found his rhythm, he’s hit with an injury.

Football can be cruel, we all know that, and it must feel like that for Hojlund right now who is set to sit on the sidelines for two or three weeks.

After struggling to find his feet in the Premier League, not scoring his first league goal until Boxing Day, the Danish striker finally hit form – netting seven goals in his last six games.

United are going to have to be without him today though, which is a huge miss.

Erik ten Hag’s team has struggled without a recognised number nine at times this campaign, will Fulham exploit that?

There are certainly some decent matchups in there. I didn’t mention it before, but I’m also looking forward to following Brighton v Everton – it always brings goals.

Four days is too long not to have Premier League football going on, so I’m glad it’s back.

We have another cracker of a day for you in store, with four 3pm kick-offs before Bournemouth v Manchester City at 5.30pm and an unusual 8pm match kick-off as Arsenal face off with Newcastle.

It does feel weird not having an early kick-off this week, I don’t really know what to do with myself, but I’m sure the rest of the day will be jam-packed full of great footie.

For starters, it will be interesting to see how Manchester United cope today without their goal machine Rasmus Hojlund, who misses their game with Fulham through injury.

I’m also excited to see how Crystal Palace get on in their first game under new manager Oliver Glasner – I bet it is going to be rocking.

With no 12.30pm kick-off, I have been excited for these matches all day.
