Prince Harry recalled ‘losing it’ over his excitement while visiting Disney World with his late mother Princess Diana and older brother Prince William.
The Duke Of Sussex, 41, opened up about the memory as he appeared alongside his wife Meghan Markle in a 20/20 special called The Happiest Story On Earth: 70 Years Of Disneyland which aired on Sunday.
The couple – who tied the knot in 2018 – recently enjoyed a Disneyland trip with their two children, Archie and Lilibet, back in June.
When he was eight-years-old, Harry joined his mother and brother on a trip to Disney World in Florida in 1993.
‘I remember it very, very well. I remember losing it as a kid with all the characters. Like, losing it,’ he shared.
Meghan chimed in to share that the amusement park was ‘more accessible’ to her due to being born and raised in the Southern California area, but it was ‘still the biggest treat in the world.’

The Suits alum also remembered visiting Disneyland for grad night when she was in high school.
‘I don’t even know why they let us do that,’ she said, with her husband jokingly adding, ‘That sounds like a lot of fun. Can you do that in your forties?’
Harry then talked about their recent trip to Disneyland earlier this year to celebrate their daughter Lilibet’s fourth birthday.
‘They’re like, “This is amazing!” the father-of-two recalled of his children’s response before entering the main park.
‘Like, “Guys, this isn’t even the front of it. Prepare yourself. You’re about to be blown away.”‘
Harry further expressed on the 20/20 interview, ‘To see the kids throw themselves into these experiences when they have no idea what they’re walking into – it was amazing. And it brings out the kid in you again.’
Back in June, Meghan uploaded an Instagram post that included special moments from their visit to the Happiest Place on Earth.
She shared a video montage from the two-day Disneyland vacation as the family had a blast on numerous rides and indulged in yummy treats.

One snippet showed both Lilibet and their son Archie, six, having the chance to meet Disney princess Elsa from Frozen.
Meghan and Harry’s kids also had fun on some rides at the amusement park such as Dumbo the Flying Elephant and the Cars ride.
The couple were spotted having a blast of their own as they sat at the front while on Space Mountain together.
One short reel included in the post was taken as the family-of-four excitedly explored Disneyland and also visited the Star Wars troopers.
Harry flashed a cheerful smile as he turned towards the camera while sitting next to Lillibet on another ride.
The birthday girl also received a Little Mermaid-themed cake that was covered in hues of blue sugary frosting while ‘Happy Birthday Lili’ was written in pink icing.
In the caption, Meghan had penned to her followers: ‘Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy!’
Earlier this week, both Harry and Meghan appeared in a trailer for the 20/20 special – with other stars also featured in the episode including Jamie Lee Curtis, Neil Patrick Harris and Jon Favreau.

Harry and Meghan’s appearance on the 20/20 special comes just one day after the pair made a surprise joint appearance at Kevin Costner’s starry charity event in Santa Barbara on Saturday.
The Suits alum joined her husband at the One805LIVE! concert which took place at the Yellowstone actor’s oceanside estate – with other celebrities in attendance such as Oprah Winfrey.
It also came just weeks after Harry reunited with his father King Charles for the first time in 18 months for a face-to-face meeting in London.
Meghan donned a sleeveless, dark navy dress as well as a pair of stylish pumps for the outdoor event – which helps raise funds for local fire, police and sheriff departments.
Harry was stylishly casual in a black button up which was paired with a pair of black trousers and a blazer on top.
The two were seen arriving to the venue and began to mingle with other guests at the charity concert.

The actress flashed a cheerful smile and at one point, shared a friendly embrace with one of the other attendees.
The couple also took time to talk with first responders and law enforcement who were also at the event over the weekend.
Harry and Meghan then took to the stage to address the crowd and cozied up together as the Duke of Sussex said a few words.
And earlier this month, he also rung in his 41st birthday on September 15 – with his wife sharing a sweet Instagram tribute to celebrate the ‘birthday boy.’
