The former glamour model, 47, then wasted absolutely no time in actually getting married – a move that has reportedly left her family horrified.
It has since been revealed that she met entrepreneur Lee Andrews just days before their wedding in Dubai, where he is based, after connecting on social media.
Amid a slew of loved-up snaps being shared on Instagram this weekend were several of Katie and Lee’s fresh matching hand tattoos.
Katie has Lee’s name inked on the back of her hand and Lee has Katie’s, while they both have the number 11 11 underneath.
The ‘angel’ number is associated with love and deep connections and seeing it on a clock, car number plate, or even on a receipt, is seen by some as telling you that you’re ‘aligned with your true purpose’.

Their choice of this number certainly indicates that Katie believes Lee is ‘the one’ after four previous marriages and nine engagements.
The angel number is also meant to represent new beginnings, or a ‘wake-up call’ from the universe – which seems fitting for Katie as she embarks on this fresh relationship.
Belief in the significance of the number sequence gained popularity through the New Age movement, where it became associated with synchronicity and spiritual awakening.
Katie is said to have left her family ‘completely horrified’ by her shock fourth marriage, with her said to have only met the businessman just days before the wedding.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Sunday night, Katie posted a loved-up selfie cosying up to her new husband, both sporting coordinating leather jackets, and captioned: ‘Happiest Mr and Mrs.’
The couple’s whirlwind romance comes just days after it was revealed that the mother-of-five had split from her boyfriend, JJ Slater, after two years of dating.
And JJ, 32, also took to his Instagram on Sunday to show his reaction to his ex getting hitched so soon after their break-up.
Sending a clear signal that he was unbothered and taking his mind off the drama, he posed for a shirtless mirror selfie onboard a boat in Florida, while flashing a wide grin and peace sign.

Sources told the Daily Mail that the news also came as a complete shock to the MAFS UK star, who is currently in Miami with his family while ‘healing his broken heart’.
Last week, the Daily Mail revealed that Katie ended her romance with JJ, which began in February 2024, after realising she didn’t see a future with him.
Insiders say cracks in their relationship had become ‘too obvious to ignore’ in recent months, despite Katie speaking of them potentially having a child and the pair spending Christmas together.
A source previously told the Daily Mail: ‘Katie has had doubts for some time about whether JJ is husband material, but she hoped those concerns would fade.
‘Instead, her fears only grew, and she’s now accepted the relationship will not end with her walking down the aisle for a fourth time.
‘JJ was left disappointed and has already packed his bags and moved back to his home in Essex. He genuinely saw a future with Katie, but it seems she ultimately had a very different outlook.’
Meanwhile, Katie connected with Lee, originally from Manchester, on social media, before she flew out to Dubai – with her family said to be ‘blindsided’ by the whirlwind romance.

Announcing the news of their engagement, the reality star said they bought their wedding rings – hers a diamond Cartier band – before they even met.
She told The Sun: ‘How I met Lee was esoteric, we connected [by] both checking each others’ socials and quickly realised “wow this is for me”…in the old fashioned way, first by words which captured us both.
‘That evolved deeper as we connected further within days [getting] matching tattoos, and then both deciding to buy rings for the other.
‘All this without even meeting, we let fate but you could [say] destiny decide. I’m just so happy with my person that is just as happy as I am. What we have, they haven’t even invented the words.’
The TV personality added that Lee ‘has the best version’ of herself.
However, an insider close to the family has claimed they are ‘completely horrified’ by the news.
The source added Katie’s mother Amy and her five children – Harvey, 23, Junior, 20, Princess, 18, Jett, 12, and Bunny, 10 – were all left completely in the dark about her wedding.
They told the publication: ‘Kate’s family are dumbstruck. To see she had got engaged after flying to Dubai – literally just after she had arrived was crazy.
‘The fact she has now married him the following day is even more shocking. No one knows who Lee is, they know nothing about him.’
They added Katie has ‘a lot of questions to answer to when she comes home’.
Katie has previously been engaged eight times and has three ex husbands – Peter Andre, 52, Alex Reid, 50, and Kieran Hayler, 38.
The wedding is said to have only increased concern about Katie’s well-being following her dramatic weight loss.
Last week, fans begged the former glamour model to get help after she was pictured looking ‘worryingly thin’ while reuniting with daughter Princess for a shopping trip.
Speaking on the latest episode of her podcast The Katie Price Show, she told her sister Sophie that she is now having tests to get answers to her recent weight loss.
Reacting to the photos, Katie said: ‘I know I look gaunt, I look like I’m ill – hence why I’m going to the doctors tomorrow.
‘I don’t know how many times I have to say to people, “Yes I know I’ve lost weight,” and there’s obviously a reason, I said it to the doctor. We all know that we’re trying to sort it all out and as soon as I know then I’ll let everyone know.’
Katie added: ‘I just wanna put on weight, I really do but I’m just not. Everyone knows I eat – I eat anything that I want, I’ve never had a problem with what I eat.’
Earlier in the podcast, the mother-of-five had revealed she had booked a doctors appointment and blood tests.
But on Friday, she shocked fans even further by revealing her engagement, and later branded Lee ‘my real life Richard Gere’.
The reality star shared a slew of snaps as she posed by a sea of red roses spelling out ‘will you marry me?’
Katie also showed off her partner’s hand, which had the fresh tattoo of her name inked on, and revealed the pair were celebrating with champagne, strawberries and chocolate cake.
Lee has been based in Dubai for 21 years and has documented his flash lifestyle on his social media channels.

Showing herself to be a true woman of the times, Katie embarked on a romance with former stripper Kieran after the two met on the now-defunct Blackberry Messenger service in 2012. And just two months after altering the paths of their lives via those thumb-tapped fateful opening messages, the twosome would go on to exchange nuptials in the Caribbean. Kieran proposed to a thrilled Katie on Christmas Day 2012, and just three weeks later, the pair would be pronounced husband and wife in the idyllic shores of the Bahamas on January 16, 2013. They had their marriage blessed in Weston-super Mare, and in the months that followed, it appeared that Katie had finally found her happily ever after. They welcomed son Jett in August 2013, and daughter Bunny in August 2014. But Katie’s world came crashing down in 2014, when she discovered that Kieran had cheated on her with her close friend of 20 years, Jane Pountney, and was enjoying a fling with another of her pals, Chrissy Thomas.
