The happy couple announced the birth in the early hours of Saturday morning with a reel of images they posted to Instagram.

In the first photo, Mack could be seen sleeping as he was bundled up in a beige blanket.

Her joint announcement with Sam was flooded with well-wishes and congratulations from their famous friends and family.

Sam’s brother Luke commented a series of red heart emojis, while Hull F.C. prop Liam Knight wrote: ‘Amazing congrats xx.’

‘Congrats guys love you,’ added retired English rugby star Wayne Godwin.

Sam and Lucy announced in April they were expecting their second child as they enjoyed a lavish babymoon together in Capri, Italy.

In images shared to Instagram, the WAG, who married the English rugby coach in October 2024, was absolutely glowing.

She showed off her growing baby bump in a figure-hugging lace dress with a plunging neckline, cradling her swelling stomach for the photos.

Another image showed the hairdresser’s bare bump in a loved-up mirror selfie with her husband, Sam.

A third photo captured the married couple lounging in the sun by the beach, while a fourth depicted them relaxing by a pool.
