The former Made In Chelsea star joined Ben, 51, and his co-host Cat Deeley on Thursday morning to talk viewers through the latest showbusiness gossip.

But before he even had a chance to open up on the latest headlines, he was given a savage takedown by Ben – who was quick to comment on his tan.
‘I think you’re going more and more orange,’ Ben pointed out as Sam first appeared on screen, as Sam flapped his hands in the air responding: ‘Don’t! You’ve got to stop this!’
Lifting his hands up to reveal his fake tan, Sam smiled and said: ‘It’s on the palms,’ as Cat chimed in: ‘You’re going to give him a complex!’

‘He looks very healthy,’ Ben added, leaving Sam looking embarrassed behind him.
Later on in the show, Sam was seen gushing over the Kardashians as commented on Kim, 45, opening up on her trips to the supermarket with daughter North, 12.
Heaping praise on her skin, Cat was quick to poke fun at Sam once more, adding: ‘There’s no dodgy fake tan on them!’
It comes after Sam was given a grilling live on air as he appeared on This Morning after it was revealed he’d exchanged flirty messages with Love Island’s Helena Ford.
In August 2025, the former Made In Chelsea star recounted how he’d been invited to the ITV2 show’s Hideaway, the Love Island villa’s private room, after Helena, 29, made a steamy remark about him.
Helena made the offer to Sam in 2017 ahead of the Love Island final, in which she had asked where to apply to ‘sit on Sam Thompson’s face’.
Sam revealed on his podcast with Pete Wicks that when he met face to face with Helena at the filming of Love Island’s spin-off Aftersun, she made yet another cheeky jibe asking ‘if the Hideaway was free’ there and then.

And as the TV presenter joined Cat and Ben the This Morning sofa on Thursday, Sam’s thoughts on Helena were quickly brought up.
The I’m A Celebrity winner, 33, took to the show to discuss the upcoming series of All Stars, which starts tonight (Thursday) on ITV2 after being debuted because of the wildfires across South Africa.
Sam joked: ‘So we know Helena quite well at Staying Relevant, my podcast, we had her at the O2 – she made a tweet about me when she was on Love Island last year.’
Cat pressed: ‘Saying what?’ as he responded: ‘I’m not going to say what it was.’
But as he was pushed, Sam then gave away: ‘It was of a nature…’ to which Ben continued to push: ‘Of a flirty nature?’
Sam then confirmed: ‘It was of a flirty nature,’ with Cat prying even further: ‘Did she slide into your DMs?’
Trying to divert the conversation away from Helena, Sam started to nervously last – pointing towards the new images of show host Maya Jama.
Sam and his best pal, former The Only Way Is Essex star Pete, discussed the tweet written by Helena, as they filmed a podcast episode last year.

The chat came after Pete read out a tweet made by Helena about Sam years earlier, in a previous podcast episode.
‘Where do I apply to sit on Sam Thompson’s face? Asking for a mate,’ the tweet written by Helena at the time had said.
Pete warned Sam that he and Helena would come face to face on Aftersun, to which the Made In Chelsea star said: ‘I don’t mind coming on to ask her!’
After the video from the podcast was shared on TikTok, Helena commented: ‘They don’t call me hideaway Helena for nothing.’
