The Mariners in the first half picked up two rushing touchdowns from QB/S Micah Ford, one pick six by Ford and another pick six by Tareq Council to get rolling to their seventh sectional title in program history and first since 2015.

Donovan Summey’s 2-yard TD run capped a 13-play, 73 yard drive in 7:42 and pulled Middletown South into an early 7-7 tie and Jake Czwakiel added a touchdown run and 21-yard field goal for the Eagles.

Gunnar Eckerstrom ran for a pair of touchdowns in RBR’s second win this season over the Mustangs. Quarterback Pierce Olsen added a 30-yard scoring pass to Ky’Yam Martin. Brick Memorial’s Connor Dietz ran for 130 yards and threw for 135 yards.
