Defending champion Shore Regional is the No. 1 seed in the Shore Conference Field Hockey Tournament, which was seeded Tuesday night at Shore Regional.
The Blue Devils, who have won the SCT 20 times, will host the winner of Thursday’s first-round game between No. 17 Manalapan and No. 16 Freehold Township Saturday in the round of 16.

Unbeaten Point Pleasant Boro, which tied Shore 2-2 on Oct. 16, is the No. 2. seed
Shore defeated Point Boro in last year’s final for its first championship since 2013.
The first round is Thursday at the higher seeds.

The round of 16 is Saturday at the higher seeds.
The quarterfinals are Tuesday at the higher seeds.
The semifinals are Oct. 27 at the higher seeds and the championship match is Oct. 30 at Holmdel High School at 12 p.m.
